My nephew's birthday was in March ... but we still haven't really celebrated it yet with everything going on. It's mind boggling to think of all the countless things that people had to cancel this year, or loved ones they planned to visit ... instead chose not. Hope you can be reunited soon!!

I managed to sit and have a cuppa with other friends today it was the first time we have sat together in weeks as we don't go in the house with their shopping, put it on the door step and they pay me via a fishing net lol:-) hugs jan xx

I saw the proud grandad today, their daughter has a little boy no name yet, mum and baby still in hospital as no post natal care is available because of the virus, this upset me so much its when a new mum needs support:-( hugs Jan xx

Congratulations and best wishes to your friend and daughter. We know a new mom too raising a baby in surreal times. Hard to be a grandparent, though. Lovely write, Jan!

A story filled with irony, Jan. After the waiting for the birth of this healthy baby for nine months, social distancing keeps them apart! Bittersweet and poignant. Prayers for the sister and the new grandparents!
