I used to love juice
acid reflex changed that
after it came back up

going down it was delightful
coming back up

acid reflex has ruined juice for me
and jalapeno peppers and Cheetos too...

Premium Member I Hate My Age Today
orange polka dots
on my tummy’s walls
tumors on my esophagus
Not so small, big, explosive, angry ones
Causing me internal bleeding
I am warned
I should eat other foods
jalapeno peppers can no longer
be my go-to fruit
I hate my age today...

Premium Member I Love Refried Beans
I love refried beans
Jalapeno peppers too
I chop them up and eat them in a bowl of sour cream
All day, all night, and on weekends

But then I get old
My throat betrays me
My stomach goes amuck
I get acid reflux when I eat this
Luckily, I have six huge bottles of Tums...

Premium Member My New Boss
I used to eat jalapeno peppers,
 banana peppers, and
tomatoes galore.

Hot spicy and
 “oh my gosh” foods
 is what I simply and
 absolutely adore.

Prime rib? Okay
but beef cake it in
 horseradish, and I mean
 straight, not in a
 dumbed down sauce.

My ulcerated esophagus
 and spastic colon
are now apparently
 my boss....

Premium Member She Is a Martha Stewart
Our hostess had creamed cheese in pea pods.
I loved it!
And jalapeno jelly in wonton wraps.
I love jalapeno.
I made a pig of myself.
Snorting and chomping.
Squealing with hog gusto.
She brought out strawberry turkey salads.
She’s like Martha Stewart, my friend suggested.
Except she has probably never been in jail, I replied.
Jealous of both of them....

Premium Member Not so sure about the combo
I'm caramel, gooey and sometimes saucy.
Sweet but sometimes salty.
Everybody knows it ~ not sure if you do

I'm still figuring out what you are
because once I've seen your prickly side
I keep picturing you as jalapeno

To be quite honest ~ I can't help but think
we might not be the ideal combination

Cold Or Hot?
Cold is so relaxing:
Ice cubes and snow on all the winter sleighs
Strawberry ice-cream
And Cloudy winter days
Popsicles so colorful
Wind in you hair
The continent of Antarctica
The white fur of a polar bear

Hot is so relaxing:
Steamy showers
Cute, cuddly dogs
Having heat ray powers
A partially burned log
A hot, hot oven
And jalapeno peppers
Yes, for sure, the heat is what I'm lovin'...

Premium Member Hot Chili Pepper Dance
These spicy banana peppers are hotter than hot.
My annoyed esophagus yells “Not! Not! Not! Not! Not! Not!”
They dance around and down my gullet from the crockpot.
Temperature there is turned up to about a thousand watt.

Some weird stranger asks me, “Is this what you brought?”
Jalapeno and banana peppers tangled in a dancing knot?
My overeager tummy is yelping and screaming a lot.
Acid reflex at my age is almost nightly fought!...

Fried Beans and Eggs
There is no better food
	fried beans and eggs
When times are tough
fried beans and eggs will keep you full
When times are good
fried beans and eggs will keep you regular
Beans and eggs fried in butter
	tortillas: preferred
	toast: is okay
	crackers: in a pinch
Fried beans and eggs when you are hungry
Beans and eggs served with
	cheese
	onions
	olives
	sour cream
	jalapeno sauce
Fried beans and eggs when you are poor
But you must:
	never ask for ketchup
or you will be told to leave...
