Insufferable
Some people misconstrue

Each Step
This insufferable, belligerent
All consuming pain
Has worn away at my feet
My blisters heals not
For each step I take
Rips them to bloody shreds
I pray. For any relief
Would be mercy
Yet hear I stand bleeding

Free Cee I Ate Myself To Death
I ATE MYSELF TO DEATH

After suffering a supper of the insufferable
I would consume a dessert of death delectable
Because my birthdays ain’t happy and my Christmases aren’t merry
So I’ll take death for desert with whipped cream and a cherry

Premium Member Merry Christmas
It didn’t matter the detriment or the law,
What was confiscated was our freedom.
Love is a warrior.
Time is the enemy.
Make friends with your enemies
Knowing they win in the end.
That’s why humor is so sacred.
See we are not so insufferable, after all.
All around us is love and momentous light....

Insufferable
Someone smart
told me yesterday
you never really

know the meaning
of a word until
you meet

someone or
something
that fits the word

perfectly and then
the word becomes
a catamount leaping

into your mind.
I didn’t agree
until yesterday

when I met you.
Odds are you feel
the same way too.

Cowboy Poems and Some More
Cowboy Poem

Horses are lovely
But they fear and hate cowboys
In black hats
Who when robbing banks
Use spurs harshly to get away
 From men in white hats

Tourist town

Vilamoura
Under the ironic moon
Five thousand cars
Looking for a parking place
Tail lights are red stars
Circling the insufferable
Our idea of summer Paradise...

On Ps Preaching
There is a place for the poetic preacher,
even in this forum---one can so feature
a castigating word, narrow-minded screed,
up to each person to decide what they read,
and while I don’t much like damning lines,
exploding like old-fashioned land mines,
I’ll hold my tongue while they do their work,
unless they become an insufferable jerk....

Premium Member Stamp Out Bullying
Get them in the schoolyard
kick'em in the pants
force them to listen to
your insufferable rants

Make them sit in silence
loudly make it clear
any one who TALKS to them
will soon be sittin' there.

Tell them they'll be punished
until THEY act as WE
constantly remind them
that KINDNESS IS THE KEY.

	INSUFFERABLE WHILE WE ENDURE

GRANTED WHEN WE AWAKE WE ARE AWARE

AS CHILDREN WE ARE TAUGHT BY THE SHORT ARM
OR WAS IT THE LONG ARM

OUR FACES ARE EVIDENCE AS IS OUR WISDOM

THANKS TO THE PAST AS TIME WILL NOT ERASE

MY HOPE IS FOR A MEMORY STRONG ENOUGH

	A WILL BOLD ENOUGH……. A COURAGE DETERMINED

			I AM THE TEST OF…….....

Premium Member Depression Revisited
Fears
I have many
I’m afraid
What’s ahead
I feel
Quite Lost
I am
Dangerously hurt
Lost
I don’t know
Weary
What to do
Pain
Insufferable
Agony
Killing me slowly
Hope
Is all lost
Looking forward
But it’s all suffering
It’s all timeless
As everything hurts so
I’m unknown
And it’s destroying my soul
My life
It’s ticking away
Annihilating
My tortured heart

OPPOSITES

In the bad dawn of winter dull,
When the light has lost
Its last battle at heavy cost
To pall the invading rays,

And the night begins afresh to pull
Down the insufferable blackness,
My eyes find your closeness
And rest peaceful in your gaze:

Yesterday’s frost lingers full,
But grey cold’s grip is spent;
Fingers of warm sun have lent
Life to brighter longer days....

Premium Member Micro Menace
I reek havoc on my unsuspecting hosts
hitch a ride on the good cells, then fight
start all sorts of insufferable symptoms
watch them cough and sneeze all day.

I care not, for I have no feelings
wild and unruly, my sole mission is to
make humans hopelessly miserable.

Though I am minuscule and invisible
a mini menace to mankind am I
for I am the almighty VIRUS.

Premium Member Dont Blame Them For Climate Change
Rain, rain, rain, unending rain; insufferable, unstoppable; sky-diving baubles dancing, drowning plants, flooding land; keeps me running to the toilet... Fools blame the cows, say, “It’s caused by methane” but, Bovine’s have been around for centuries; blaming them for global warming and climate change is the equivalent of blaming insomnia on a pea!

Over and Over
Over and over

I searched everywhere

To discover the truth

Yet I couldn't seem to find it anywhere

Because i couldn't see

As I was blinded and blinkered too

What was sadly staring back at me

Right in front of my face

All along

The truth was to insufferable

To face and take head on

As the truth in reality

Is so very hard to handle

Let alone get a handle on afterwards

It is out the box

And been uncovered...

Premium Member In the Shadow of Both
When it comes to
Dark vs Light,
we find ourselves
somewhere in the shadows:
the only place
we can move about
with some semblance
of freedom--

not that dark is impenetrable
and light too fast, perhaps
fearing compromise…

Just the insufferable matter
of proper timing with balance:
spacing our notes best
(deciding what valleys and amplitudes)
while learning to sit
comfortable on a rabid beam--
still no cure
once the disease
takes hold…....

Hot News
Summer keeps coming.
Knock down days
that stroke the heat- hammer
with a wilting flesh.
We must find a way
to un-cuff from the insufferable,
to face off with an icy will power.
To honor, with a grudging awe
those pioneers
that came and went
before the cool hit-songs
of our air conditioning units.
If it were possible
we would drink a cold beer
while taking a cold shower,
or shower in cold beer,
but that is just a dream
our over-cooked minds
clings to....

Premium Member Bad Trip
   Every day, same routine
out of bed, in the latrine
Cup'a'joe, out the door I go
      Work's a bad trip, but I owe

Phony-smile time: 'How was your weekend'
('Still datin' that tired old girlfriend')
Jumpin' through hoops way too small
      insufferable boss, cocky know-it-all

   Liberty bell rings at half-past-five
the hour the dead come alive
Off to the bar for a tall cold one
hand on the trigger ~ all done

The Solace of the Insufferable
I have a lot of enemies
Who hate me through-and-through:
They dare to disagree with me
On what they ought to do.
They push their narrow ways on me,
And soon it may be you,
By claiming we must tolerate
Their novel point of view.

With such abundant captious foes
You’d think I’m in a fix,
But there’s no need for worrying;
I’m onto all their tricks.
Their argument won’t stand a chance;
They’ll have to take their licks,
For since they disagree with me
I know they’re dumb as bricks....
