Alone In a Crowd Six
Laughing, merriment, inklings of joy
permeate as if by sonic blast...

I stand in the midst with a cold vacant hole
where happiness once lived unabated...

The ball drops, confetti flies, it's all mixed in
with the shattered pieces of my heart.......

Faith
Faith

Alleluia, behold Christ’s dream.
Every follower gets heavens’ inklings.
Joyfully keeping laws man needs.
Obtaining peaceful quotes relieves.
Jesus Christ cleans and gleans…believe.

Reunion, 2009
Reunion, 2009
				By Holly W. Schwartztol ©

It’s June and they’re calling
Curiosity’s enthralling
It’s Reunion time again

Do we really dare
To go back there
With our eyes and minds open?

Or do we shun
What was begun
And feign disinterest and ennui?

To finally discover
Inklings that hover
Evoking our hidden selves...

Listen to poem:
he made promises
he could not keep
forces stacked against him
unable to overcome
returning home
with defeat in his heart
claiming both prize and failure
closing the loop on
passion and sorrow
life and death

Premium Member Wanderlust With a Mission
She was born with wings
Hiking boots and inklings
Urges to run out and explore
She just couldn't ignore
The gnawing curiosity
That grew with ferocity
A tomboy with spunk
Uncovering stories to debunk
Wanderlust with a mission
Of the noblest ambition

Mystic Tinklings
Mystic Tinklings

Mystic tinklings
	Ancient echoes from the past
Fleeting inklings
	Glimmer just beyond your grasp

Phantom footfalls
When you know that you’re alone
Echoed choircalls
	Of a long forgotten song

Shadows slipway
From the corners of your eye
Darkened hallways
	Hints of time passed by

Brief reflections
Of things you did not see
Vast collections
Of the things that used to be...

Escape Into Reality
ESCAPE INTO REALITY

Escapists---fantasizing about worthless things
Well trained in our worldly ways and feelings
Struggling to visualize our predestined callings
Escapists—fantasizing about worthless things

Reality-- disregarding Eternal majestic dwellings
Pursuing false perspectives and earthly inklings
Mistaking Believers as fake brainwashed beings
Reality—disregarding Eternal majestic dwellings...

They are the “inklings”
Of a thought
Taking form
Faint etchings
Slowly scrawled
Scratched out
Born again
In halting hope.

A matrix of dots
Roaming an arid plain
Searching
For shape, form
and purpose
constrained
within edgeless boundaries.

Inklings,
Children of thought
Feeding on the rootless
Scrub grass
Of ancient strictures
Smearing their frustrations
On the castle walls.

Inklings
It was the work of her hands
that gave flesh to her speech;
her persona made vocal.
Gestures were needle-point,
stitching words into sound.
She talked with the eloquence
of quick speaking fingers,
with hands that emphasized,
underlined, swept away, challenged,
motioned, mentioned,
mollified, mimed, beckoned,
warned and added warmth to her words.
Her hands sewing and patching together
articulations for
the far-sighted and for muted ears....

Premium Member Affairs Meant To Be
An inkling came to me, as I mused nature’s law, of affairs meant to be. It was His face I saw in every living thing as I mused nature’s law. A never ending string of divine sight and sound in every living thing. Mortal senses did abound emerging from inklings of divine sight and sound. Ethereal twinklings of life everlasting emerging from inklings. Nature’s tone forecasting, an inkling came to me of life everlasting, of affairs meant to be.

We seem separate, sadly so
Culture's children of East and West
A horrid hole lurks humankind
Traipse through time to stand up straight
History's tears tell the true tale
Finding freedom from irksome isms
Inner inklings shine to the stars
Will wise hearts always pay the price
Wrought with woe, wars waged unwon

Face race, our original sin
Seeking healthcare for everyone
Reset concepts for world order
Find ways to treat our foes as friends
Cross grand gorges, greet the other...
