Behind friendly smile and bright eyes are scars
left by raw pain and sorrow
Heart broken when love died
Seren Roberts
He broke her like a promise
So casual and cruel
Had no intentions of
Caring
Just left her heart broken
And bruised....
I'm in love and you're not
I'm heart broken and you're not
I'm lonely and you're not
Because I'm still in love and you're not

First time
sleepless nights
deep feelings
I'm on top of the world.
Again, first time
sleepless nights
shattered feelings
I'm heart broken.
The pulse races,
the mind falters,
the tongue stumbles,
the speech a-jumble.
My wretched stammer
leaves aspirations in tatters.
My heart broken
by the words unspoken.
MOTHER
HAD A CHILD
WITH SO MANY SMILES
CONFUSE AS SHE WAS
SHE WAS LONELY AS DUST
HER HEART BROKEN TWO
FROM THE MAN SHE LOVED
REGRET FILLED HER UP
NOW THATS ALL SHE WAS.
You took my heart
You tore it two shreds
nothing to do but watch with dread
as all the blood oozes red
i screamed
i cried
staring at the blood that has now dried

Pen me when I’m down
Open my heart when I’m heart-broken
Eulogize my creativity when I spit words of wisdom
Mention me to generations yet to be born because I’m a legacy
I hear the footsteps
of a heart broken…
stomping outside the grapes;
vinegar already the grade –
though the failure has yet
to be pressed...his label
appropriately distressed.
My heart is a precious thing to me.
So why should I let someone in?
I have had my heart broken
so many times before.
And I'm tired of
feeling used, so
why should I
let you
in?
Is this how it feels,
Me without you?
When you dumped me
Inside the trash can
Of heart broken
Lovers?
So, is this how it feels
The feeling of loneliness
In the trash can?
She comes as quite as a whisper,
Behaving as calm as a snail.
Still somehow turns my world upside down;
leaving me in a chaotic game,
as if the whole world is shouting her name.
Heart broken
from anger
exploded violently.
Tender touch
escaped emotions.
Flared empty
tears flow...
Help me please!
As hurt masks
frustrations want
for lovable understanding
I once had a heart that was broken
When unmentional things were spoken
Now I'm out on the town
Just cattin' around
With a life that's really smokin'

Until Next Time
to my dismay
you did not stay
you went away
left my heart broken
in two never to be
mended again
know it was my
fault you went
away but i wish
that i could have
convinced you to stay
heart broken
words spoken
life taken
rude waking
trsut lost
emotions dependent
tears shed
anger bred
chains linked
circle continued
cycle breaks
hearts separate
emotions handled
life gained
joy filled
They were lost
out of the ordinary
a time within
a newer journey begins
senseless thoughts
a count for the days
amazed, in a daze
confusion, alone
a reality, surreal
heart-broken
a time spent
repentance.
I walk along the shoreline in the rain.
Heart broken, memories flooding my mind.
Tears streaming from my eyes, in pain.
Your final words, trying to be kind.
The shattered pieces of my heart, will I find?
Black tinged tear dribble down in misery,
now heart broken
forever:
bereft
life.
Will
he turn
back for her?
Maybe relent?
Forlorn she sat on the sofa waiting.

Picture 2
Feeling so broken hearted
Over wanting them near
We should never have parted
They should be right here
To continue what we started
Our first days I hold so dear
In my heart, broken hearted
Until together, forever near.
Form:
Sight begins to blur
Tears roll down my face
My infatuation with you was just a waste
My heart broken in two
I didnt know what to do
But then I knew
I knew what I had to do
I had to get over you
But i dont know how to
How to get over you

Heart Broken
Nowhere To Turn
No one sees tears
Flowing inside
Gasping for air
Whimpering out of sight
Pillow soaked
Eyes are red
Heal this heart
Place another inside
Let my soul rest
Give me peace
Please let me take off this Mask
It drips -
my ocean.
One drop at a time
from the eyes of a grey stone.
Flows the anguish
in a cave.
A fallen grace from sky,
flickering like an earthen lamp.
Do not go
heart broken into crowd.
Tears were never sweet.
SATISH VERMA
Crowded in this empty room thoughts flooding my mind
she let me down easily just to be kind. Heart broken up
into two pieces one side is aching the other weeping.
Butterflies not in my stomach but in my chest, but it's
all over i failed the test.
