Hocus Pocus
I found a book of ancient spells
It’s hard to read and it smells
I found it at a German bookstore
“My current meal is such a bore,
so this spell I scream and shout
give me a heaping wad of sauerkraut”...

Ancient Honey Hunter
Golden annihilation of a lion's
    spring cover.
Endless tusk of an elephant's
    mind water.
Innard heaping stewards
       sponging
Blood for cleanse:
   Giant sky narrowed
   down
to the dream of a bee....

Follow the 10
Through it all
Faith pull the hull
When the light switch
Could not be found
Ways out not around
The rememberance of God
Came knocking a sure mound
Heaping up the answers
Helping the wait
Remaining not being the bait
Calling in prayer
Knowing he answers...

Snow Song
White snow,
Bright snow,
Light snow
Falling.

Slow wind,
Low wind,
No wind
Calling.

White trees,
Bright grass,
Light hands
Catching.

Eyes clear,
Eyes sweet,
Eyes bright
Laughing.

Grand clouds,
Glad clouds,
Huge clouds
Sweeping.

Joy sound,
Joy deep,
Joy high
Heaping....

Spectacles
Spectacles

A blurry word is a pest,
a missed meaning a chore.
But lost specks are best,
when never found ever more.

And not spotted by my darling
perched up high in my mane
after an unrightously load roar
and a heaping pile of disdain.

Specs not found by my love
sitting atop my fuzzy head
is a gift from the heights above
That I pray for instead....

Sowing and Reaping
Sowing-and-reaping’s rule is pure,
Whatever you give you’ll procure,
When you sow evil, it comes back in folds to you,
And if it’s good, you’ll have it in multiples too,
Each time you give a soul hope,
It appears when you’re on the ropes,
And when you pull a folk down,
You’ll meet defeat on your way uptown,
What you give out is coming; it’s heaping,
That is the law of “sowing and reaping”....

Emerald leaves of summer quickly disappear
Autumn arrives as days draw short

Forewarning of the up coming winter ***snow***....

Head Chef
The special today,
is Tom's Stew,
more than enough,
for all of you.
Homemade bread,
with garlic, and chives,
real butter without calories,
dripping from the sides.
Strawberry Shortcake,
heaping with cream,
fresh from scratch,
right out of a dream.
Eat all you want,
get happy, and stuffed,
take some with you,
he insist you have enough.
Open all night,
his lights always on,
place your orders,
before it is all gone....

Stuff of Life
After mother
died,
our grandmother
moved in
to take
care of us.

She'd bake bread
early in the morning
and I'd have it
for breakfast,
still hot,
steaming,
slathered
with butter,
and
I'd
      dip
the bread
into my coffee,
hot, too,
with a heaping teaspoon of sugar,
and I'd make it tan
with the sweet,
canned milk.

When she
got cancer,
grandmother
moved
away,
so her daughter
could
care for her,
while
she
died....

Tired of Being Lonely
The heart of me is not important to the vision of the
Happiness is my mcguffin, nothing but a plot starter
Quickly, sorrow sweeps me off my feet
Back on the ground where I started
I weep uncontrollably and still no one cares
The heart of me is not important to the vision of the
Today is a mirror image of yesterday's pain
Love will never find my person in this society
Psychologically destroyed, a heaping mess
The heart of me is not important to the vision of the...

Release
Masked by distance. Lost in past
pulling at my heart.
Communication absent, knowing not
where I should start.

Evolving nil, the standstill
reaps such havoc on my dreams.
Desire overwhelming such
it's bursting at the seams.

The longing for that little sign.
A light of green be seen.
A chance to close the heaping gap.
Unblock the guarded stream.

Open with the preciousness
of foot prints in the sand.
Just open please, let flowers bloom
unlock the golden ban....
