Grimacing faces
With teary-eyed composure
Look out together
At their capped and gowned daughter,
Happy, yet sad, both know why.
At last, their big day.
Gowned, smiling, hopeful and proud.
Graduates, conferred!

Ansar
Through felicity gowned greens and idyllic hues
Such plethora rhapsodic throwing dulcet trues
Chrysalis skies in simple radiant
Sapphire clouds never evanescent
Talisman, we're here or are we sent!

A druid climbs the sacred oak, white gowned
to bring the holy mistletoe to ground.
With a golden sickle in his hand,
caught in his vestments, its brought to land.
Then, they feast beneath the sacred tree
gifting two white bulls for God's bounty.
Such
beauty
all
around
fair
faces
flowing
hair
slender
bodies
loosely
gowned
to
reveal
a female
ideal
A Roses’ red
Blush of life and wonder
Lips of Saints kiss the ground
Dipped, dripped, gowned, and drowned
Floods of what the sun bled
Sweetness was profound
Color of love
Kisses of wonder
Pure blanket surround
Dive into the free
Like boats at sea
For Beauty was around
Swan
Oh! serene spirit,
White gowned on sun flecked waters.
Majestic in your slow glide.
What intelligence
Guides you silently along
The river’s strong flowing path?

Sweet rain is hammering the dry ground
Dirt turning to muddy foundations
Leaves nodding their heads to the sound
Gaia smiling upon her creations
The earth with green is gowned
Eudora now pouring her libations
To Ceres, with grain is crowned
Patron, we give our adoration
The fruits of your harvest abound
Freedom is an ultimate thrilled
tide that quickens my praise filled
breath as its promising, prism gowned
waves pound glistening visions upon
shores that tease my tingling touch
by denying a complete catch for my
own freedom cache of liberty abilities.

So, Barbara Blount Hall,
solid and imposing,
very proud of itself
in photo I'm seeing.
I wish I could look
through various windows
at all the gowned masters
in charge of high learning.
Then they would see me
and look up in surprise,
teaching thus faltering
for the while I was there.

My rueful spirit was gowned in a silken shroud of white.
Was there no chance my penitent cries had been heard?
I searched his pensive eyes for the palest glimpse of light,
then he wiped my tears away. His heart had been stirred.

Hubble photographed her
in her finest sapphire
and carnelian display;
a wizened sage who’s
gathered knowledge of universes
Orion takes his back seat to her luminosity.
Gowned in her elegant splendor,
Carina’s a nebulous delight,
upon Sagittarius’s Arm
a pageantry of excellence,
as she arrives at the universal ball.
Beat spouse
Called louse
In funk
Got drunk
Left bar
Drove car
Cop stopped
Got popped
Smelled booze
Bad news
Tests muffed
Handcuffed
To jail
No bail
Court date
Learned fate
Judge gowned
And frowned
One year
Oh dear
Confined
He pined
Short shrift
Wife miffed

The Wedding Prayer
Your hand I hold
Your ring I place
Our future dreams to unfold
I see you there
gowned in white
and crowned with darkened hair
I pray my Lord
This bond we made
will remain until we get old
And if in sickness,
we cannot be as one,
by each other’s side;
Do keep our memories,
and our hearts so dear,
to each other we abide.

Green grasshoppers glide gracefully over the ground,
Their glossy gossamer wings glitter all around,
Their glassy feathers generate grandiose sound,
Like glorious gladiators, some golden gowned
gorgeous grigs gallop in their gluttonous manner,
Other garish brown ones glow like grimy scanner
as they hover in swarms like a greasy banner,
Best, stay away from grasshoppers - that's the plan, er!!!
The Wedding Prayer
Your hand I hold,
your ring I place,
our future dreams to unfold.
I see you there,
all gowned in white,
our union we will share.
I pray my Lord,
this bond we hold,
will keep until we get old.
Past chapel fair,
past garden grounds,
our marriage we declare.
And if in sickness,
we cannot be as one,
being by each other’s side,
we preseve our love,
cherishing memories,
and to each other still abide.

my flesh is softly whispering, "i am dead."
as my Mind gently escapes all of Humanity\
that i am/was now/once human: no regrets.
the price of tuition
with the mansion of illusionary fantasy.
All toll: the age of forgiving
is slightly gowned within white laced
/unbelieving until the moment of
Learning & remembering we are not just
flesh now but before purest Spirit.
And we are free! If it rings truth.

A White Satined Pillow, Gowned
To Perfectionist, Tied With
Golden Lace, Where I Lay My
Soul, Down To Rest, I Claim My
Heart, To Be Purified And
Promised, Unto Thee"LORD,"
For I Shall Have "No Fear," For
I Am Not Scared, Nor Shall I
Hate, In Violence, With The
Blood Of The Lamb, Upon My
Hands, Unto The Lands I
Perceive To Protect, Against
The Devil's Advocate, I Here,
Will Rise My Shielded Wall In
Faith To Glorify It With An Out-
Standing Victory To Our Nation,
Are You With Me?
Bathing in a rave of golden sunlight.
I found the door that lead to that skinly gowned
piece of my mind.
Of reason, of thirst, of intimacy.
A face, a mocking test of bested kind.
Life was jealous, of we.
It teased and it tempted.
The temperance of its temper
was insurrected, dialected by dumb rage.
It sought to analyze us, in a separate cage.
Eternity is a long time.
Without the illusion of age.
With the heart of a mage.
The spell has already been cast.
As we walk the stage.
