A Glimpse of Light

My rueful spirit was gowned in a silken shroud of white. Was there no chance my penitent cries had been heard? This is the rare sort of verse that titillates me truly. I liked the thematically dense, yet lively rhythmic lines - each passing a scented bit of the overall meaning intended. Congrats!
