I want to be a lovely koi the goldfish told the cat
I want to be white tiger at the Mirage with Siegfried and Roy

Something born without a voice
has no choice
and dies without complaining.
It wants out of that bowl
with all of its soul
and it's so entertaining.

are good with tomato soup.
They add cheese flavor.
It's a great combination.

She sees a pony in her room,
with biker chickens roaring by,
a goldfish on a witch's broom,
a pig, a cat about to fly...
'Ah, yes, I see 'em too, 'I lie.
My goldfish Finster Darcy
Speaks English but not Farsi
He has an education
And moral reputation
He does kung-fu better than you
He's such an inspiration.

Swim like a goldfish;
Just revel in letting go.
It does us all good
To take time to play, relax;
The stressed mind can be stubborn.
city swimmer yesterday
screamed a fish was in the way
lifeguards who had heard the shout
quickly tried to pull her out
and my goldfish from the bay.
In a sea of goldfish sat a Bryce
He looked around, said, "Hey, this is nice!"
We fed him a bit more
He threw most to the floor
Then we gave him a bath once or twice

I gaze at a bowl
Where goldfish swivels through moss
Its fine gills aglow---
With such aquatic prowess
As it wiggles restlessly

goldfish loved the chase
Merchild did too
They swam good and hard
In the waters so blue
goldfish got caught
But slipped away easily
A regular chasing day
in the Mediterranean Sea
The goldfish follows me
As I cross the room
Bubbles aerate his coral
His eyes darken
His movements deliberate
I fear he dreams
of being a shark
And of me
falling into his bowl.
A pool in the shade.
water torn with small ripples.
goldfish darted up and down,
in limpid water.
when the carp leaped suddenly,
I heard the pond's melody.
Inside we sit, still,
hoping that change will soon come.
Fingers crossed, hands in a prayer;
goldfish in a bowl.
Chance for people to reflect -
a moment in time. Frozen.
(Intertia)
Nothing too clear
Is kept in mind.
But when by what most precious of
Glassed pond confined
These her fair traits
Come flooding back.
As striking, for colour and movement
Its goldfish pack.
