A Pond's Melody

A pool in the shade. water torn with small ripples. goldfish darted up and down, in limpid water. when the carp leaped suddenly, I heard the pond's melody.

Dearest Valsa, gifted poet, I adore your vivid imagery and the vibrant action captured in your splendid poem. I was especially struck by "water torn with small ripples" -wow! The splish splash of "goldfish" darting and "carp" leaping in the pool brings the "pond's melody" to sunny, sparkling life in my imagination. A picturesque poem that teases and delights the senses. Warmest wishes, my creative friend.. ~Susan
