Stirring Drizzles

Dense skies
Whistling winds
Shivering air
Sporadic drizzles

Turkeys’ gobbles
Robins’ cheers
Black birds’ herds
Humming bird’s spectacle

Trees’ contours
Roads’ sparkles
Drench earth
Awareness stirs

Sleep

Sleep
To wait
for a dream
wonderous scenes
of piquant parfaits
with a blended relish
of creamy fruit and almonds
savoring and ready to eat
daunted by an ogre's appearance
who gobbles it down and awakens you

The Good Old Days

Modern Marvin grabs a sandwich
        Devours it in a bite
           Wolfs it down
Gobbles up a whole bag of chips
Washes it down with a Big Gulp...

His great-grandfather's daily fare
--half a potato and a crust of bread

Action Game

A grotesque gamer gobbles gummies grunting gleefully at his game.
Sounds of slaughter spewing from the surround sound speakers.
The cunning commando combats a clearing 'cross countless cretins.
Validating his victory only after violently vanquishing the virtual villains.

A Trail of Destruction

A snail has thousands of teeth No wonder it is such a thief It gobbles my plants You should hear my rants Slug pellets will give some relief! I discovered from a quiz question that some species of snail can have over 25,000 teeth! 02~05~17

Orange-Pekoe Tea

A teabag is snug
in an orange rind as it floats
on the brown sewage;

the spinach leaves swirl
as the drain gobbles and sucks,
and the brocoli

florets are hurried
to the steel beast's growling maw.
The peach liquid soap

sponges and perfumes
the kitchen. Sun-hued butter-
fly wings emerge, lift.

Dawn Takes Wing

A lion roars, a mule brays
A lamb frolics, a horse neighs

A dog barks, a wolf howls
A snake hisses, a bear growls

A calf bleats, a rooster crows
A moose bellows, an ox lows

A turkey gobbles, a cow moos
A mosquito buzzes, a pigeon coos

A cat meows, a nightingale sings
An alarm clock rings ~ Dawn takes wing

Any Takers

This expert excursion...

sweet sweet soliloquy?

Checking every bucket box,

chiming like strife to be?

Frank Zappa may have had his platter eaten-

Joseph Gobbles his Dotton feelie' wheels,

but made the park his whole weighted keel?

When you wouldn't leave the stuffy car to pray for a deal?

How can the forcery stars not end up real?

Ireland's Beauty Along the Creek

Waterfall gases with colors of rainbow,
Blossoms along the banks.
While a hoarse gobbles on grass
A woman swims in the water.
The water runs slowly down the creek,
Until the pace picks up by the bigger waterfall,
Down the banks a ways.
Relaxing and being drawn asleep by the sounds,
Of…….
Birds chirping and water splashing,
Leaves rustling and bushes blowing in the wind.

He Slinks Over the Links

He Slinks Over The Links

He raced to the first golf hole, par he winks
Three wild shots later a turkey gobbles
Cuss words escape his lips, as his drives stink
Another dying duck's hit, as his legs wobble
Ploop, another drink of the pond, how awful

Rogan

There is a dog who breathes
A breath so thick and dense
At times I find it hard to believe
If any of this makes sense.
His diet is the essence of perfect
He gobbles it down like lightening
There is nothing he ever rejects
His breath the essence of frightening.
But he is so beautiful as you can see
Oh boy he is a delight
There is a dog that breathes carefree
He does it all day and all night.

Grotesque Green Germs

Grotesque green grandpa and grandma goblins gratifying greasy gravies.
Gregariously greeting grateful guests who are going goat-herding in Greenland.
Glimpsing grievous grandchild who gobbles greasy gravies greedily,
Grandma and Grandpa gives Gabe, their gallivanting grandson a glimpse of
Grotesque germs giggling and gallivanting in grease. Gabe is good-natured
as he gobbles, and gasps at the germy gunky gravy.

Raining Again

RAINING AGAIN

Raw, as onions cut into the whites of my eyes,
And tears sting and stream at this
Indignant hour, way before
Nine. Actually the number slipped upside down
In the incessant rain - a
Neverland of sleep that
Gobbles up one hour of time.

And the anchors of the media want this practice
Gone, kaput.
Ancient happenings
In another time but
Not kept up at this incessantly ridiculous rate.

Wildcat Muskrat Cat Faerie

Who is she? We wondered as she pranced around foraging for carrion.
She is a blue-eyed witch I think.
The BEW turns and stares at me; she looks like a wild muskrat cat faerie.
I am terrified, for I have never met such a creature.
She appears to be royalty.
I stop eating my mouse and offer it to her.
She gobbles it up and then stares.
She is a beauty, but a tyrant.
I run, hoping she is not chasing me.
Cats like this break your back and start with your head.

Kronos

You must decide,
Or by Kronos you must abide.
Hail the titan of time,
No, I must draw the line.

So I say he is evil,
Worse than the devil.
Leader of the titan's,
You really need to enlighten.

Holds the power of the scythe,
He thinks he can get a wife.
Can freeze time full stop,
Tie mortals in a knot.

Putting people in human chain,
Gobbles them down like a game.
Possess the body,
Possess the mind.

As Kronos walks through time,
Beware the titan of titan's,
And them of time.

Where Is the Sky

Blue sky on day light
Multi shape of grey, white clouds
Randomly transfer

Dark sky at nighttime
Sparkle stars spread in vague screen
Moon isn’t ever full

Behind dark and blue
The Man’s eyes cannot attain
But an endless guess

Universe gobbles sky
That covered anybody’s head
Man’s faith since his birth

The ritual faith that
Originated the social class:
Man stoops other Man

Might the souls fly high
To bind on clouds, moon or stars
Since there is no sky

The Ogre In the Garbage Disposal

He likes an egg
without a shell, cracked
by the careless act
of a grocery store clerk.
There's always some jerk
who could make you sick
then read your obit
with a pained expression
as if that session
and consequence grim
had nothing to do
with him.
The Og. loves
spaghetti
is always ready
when you've got
a question
of indigestion.
He loves a meal
of apple peel
(forgive me Giuseppi
of the Pinnochio
story). I do not care
for apple peel,
and though the Og.
is small, he
gobbles it all.
