A Trail of Destruction

A snail has thousands of teeth
No wonder it is such a thief
It gobbles my plants
You should hear my rants
Slug pellets will give some relief!

I discovered from a quiz question that some species of snail can have over 25,000 teeth!

Vladislav Raven Date: 5/14/2017 3:26:00 PM Hi Jan, well i didn't know about the teeth, little blighters. We get them a lot up here in Scotland also. My sister, next door, gets them more than us. One thing, i would never eat them, i know they are a delicacy in some countries. As always, you shine your light on another subject and out comes a skillful, fun limerick. I don't wish to kill them but I do not wish to let them destroy my garden either so I pick them up and take them to the country where I release them! What 25,000 teeth?
