Premium Member Maple Tree

A bright maple tree,
In its glory and splendor,
A seedling full grown,
Part of God’s great workmanship,
As poetry to the eye.

There Was An Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe

The old woman in the shoe scandal
who had those kids, too much to handle.
Now that they are full grown
and she is home alone,
she'll down-size to a sandal.

Premium Member Full Grown

A shoot escapes biting this stars ray, E'er so oft rain splashes near its day, Lil glow often drawn in braids, Wind tussles ardent in trades, A petaled sheath loosens for display.

Baldhead Carla

Once lovely full grown woman Carla
Went to a gender barber, she was only 4'4"

Premium Member The Trees At Night Seen

On the grassy lawn
A tree with the buds
Have turned to leaves
When there is darkness
An image appears
It is a face of-
A full grown lion's
face seen

By the front window
Is a bush budding
It has the green buds
Soon will turn to leaves
When darkness appears
There is a lion's face

Desert Laureates

Four from India
coffers filled
with cobwebs
dusty jargon
of their own
wept assunder
by your glances
lost disciples
driven snowflakes
of the
full grown moon
you taught to dance
once so fluent
by the fireside
flaunting heavens
innocence
love itself will not
commit you to the
desert laureates

Premium Member Light Bulb In the Forest

dainty scavenger floats down
onto a mystery orb
peeks through her pretty window

wondering at the sheer beauty
of this effervescent petal
something mystical about her

An anomaly in the woods
Possibly grown by the
Felled tree

Never saw a full grown oak
landing in this spot before
A magic moment
Form: Verse

Reflection

I stand upon a time
on footed thought, regret,
I want to make my path clear
from obstacles, neglect.

Seeds full grown
by my hand that sowed to plough,
I could have done much better
but what can I do now?

Forgiveness we all welcome,
sorry an easy clause,
it's far to late and overdue
when knocking at deaths doors.

Premium Member Through Blooms of Passion

Drowning in oceans
of full-grown orchids and smoke
through my lover's eyes,
each bloom becomes a forest,
of water-colored amber.

My epiphany,
eyes now closed, remembering
thoughts of firelight, vintage wine--
nights holding misty kisses
....and stars a fount of petals.

Premium Member I need a Litter Box

Jimmy wished he was a cat
Not a kitten, but a full-grown caterwauling tom
He prayed about it every night for ten years
One morning he saw catlike qualities in the mirror
I look like a cat! He said.
I have whiskers like a cat!
I need a litter box.
So he made himself one out of a long dishpan
His mother kicked him out shortly afterwards

Damage

Damage

Like any tree
Broken by storm
Will grow again
Anew
Into other branches
And other reaches
But never again
To be
The originally
Conceived
Full grown
Tree

Like any child
Damaged by storms
Will grow again
A new
Into other pathways
And other destinies
But never again
To be
The originally
Conceived
Full grown
Human

Premium Member A Girl's Black Hair

when I
young I

was well
and tell

my friends
split ends

my hair
not fair

but clean
not mean

I wash
and brush

my locks
like ducks

to say
like fay

I sing
and swing

and fly
not cry

to dry
not fry

under
hot air

my own
full grown

long hair
black hair

love you
just you

sweet you
black you!

Premium Member The Jolly Man Unwisely - a Mini Parody

Parody of The Holly And The Ivy. I ran out of
steam after verse two, but I felt it still worked

                   *

The jolly man unwisely
for he was full grown
Of all the cheese that was in the fridge
Old Jolly wolfed it down

Then Mrs Clause said, ‘Santa
O how your breath does stink
If it’s a promise that you think you’re on
Then have another think’
Form: Lyric

Needy

Never standing standing to be left on your own.
Will there be a time where you can be full grown?
Like all days are past and stand present before,
For a trivial fear of being left alone on the shore.

Setting sail and never looking back,
Such a grande thing; no freedom to lack.
Overburdened with life extinguished,
When a needy greedy soul becomes so distinguished.

Premium Member Anaphylactic

DJ spin me hard,
hit me with peppermint spit;
Sick turntable bark;
Break off a word and dip it,
coat it in cocoa sweetness;

How fast can you go?
Do you have mic control?
Come on let’s hear it;
I don’t want delicate licks,
I want a total knockout;

A full grown viper
firing such venomous bars;
Anaphylactic;
Aromatic, rhythmic;
Indulge me a biting rhyme.

Life

Life is so much like a flower. You start off as a little bud and continue to grow and grow until you are a full grown flower with all of its perfect little petals. But then one after another of the pretty little perfect petals continuously wilt and fall off because of how much pain you’ve suffered in your life. And eventually you’ve gon and turned into dust to be forgotten.

Premium Member Cloning a Clown

If you are going to clone a clown you need a giant test tube.
This was stated by my ignoramous of a cousin, we call Rube.
He ordered the biggest one that a Prime truck could deliver.
I believe I will name my full-grown circus clown Mr. Sliver.
Why do you encourage him? Asked his mother’s cousin Roan.
“When he’s wasting time with this stuff,” she said “he leaves me alone”

Premium Member My Little Moon

Moon,
Lord of light,
Protector of the night,
You light the flame
That has no name
Inside my daughter's heart.

She's only two,
Though don't let that fool you.
She howls at the moon
Like a full grown coyote.
With raised chin
She sways and swoons
Carrying her to the car from the party.

Her in my arms,
Seduced by her charms,
I sway and swoon
At my own little moon.
