Clear Blue Day

clear blue day
lone moose watches
wolves shadow

*moose and wolves are common in Canada.
Wolves will hunt in packs and can take down a full grown moose.

A most clever beast is the Wolf. The have instinct to seek out the weak, and they will tire the healthy and wait. Fine Haiku Phyllis :)

Great picture you painted here in so few words...We had wolves back in Romania, and bears, deer...we used to have thick beautiful forests too. I have heard the politicians destroyed them and exported almost all the wood...what a crime! Thank you for your nice comment, dear Phyllis

we have bears , deer, wolves, fox, moose, buffalo, coytoes, rabbits and now wildlife society brought in cougars to kill some of the natural born wildlife-shake my head at some of the stupid things they do.

I have not been to Canada for a few years. I am a Gordon Lightfoot fan. Very nice Haiku! Did you ever see a wolf in the wild? I remember seeing bears running in the woods - frightening. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

yes I have seen a wolf in the wild in fact about 3 weeks ago I was driving and came across a wolf on the side of the highway eating some road kill. I like Lightfoot too.

wow, I really like your haiku here. If this was for Deb's, I am surprised it did not make it on the list!
