great stink rising up in warm waves
feral
bellow
running dark
not quite blind
herd formation
other quiet beasts wait under cover
for the weak
There is no debate,
what we celebrate.
Formation of the state,
never racial hate.
Former colony,
freed from monarchy.
Honoring liberty,
not inhumanity.

early morn honking
city folk, surprised, look up
wild flock southward bound
through the morning fog
street lights cast an eerie glow
distant formation
geese in pristine sky
in perfect V formation...
fly to southern climes

There is err up side down
It’s cause for arrest and to end rest
Either it’s to rest in prison
Or else to reform in rest of his life

they head south for warmer climes~

While geese in winter flock in V-formation
Their annual migration to warm destinations
Slumbering bears just plop down in a cave
~ Engaging in what's known as "Hi-Bear-Nation"
A most majestic fowl is the goose!
'Tis a thing of beauty in flight,
As it wings in V-formation so tight!
But, alas, its bowels are awfully loose!

I'm trying to go from bottom to top like basement to top floor Crustacean the Condor
Bottom of the Basin
To the top of the rock formation Raising my elevation till
I'm high as a concord
All these young rebels get way too much press
for causes and movements they loudly profess
So, as an aging hipster, a resurgent Mad Hatter
I announce the formation of 'Gray Hair Matters'
as red leaves turn to dust
and a chill is in the air,
I see the wild geese
in perfect formation fly
off to southern climes.
a bit of me longs to go along
for soon I'll hear old winter's song...

Canada Day is always a great celebration
Red and white everywhere celebrating our nation
152 years since birth
Of merriment and mirth
Canadian humor is world renowned since its formation
Each cloud, soldier-like
Projects brute force;
Not before, rageful, for sudden dread
Thunderous blasts.
Of what had once stormed
A front line through
Its ghost formation, overhead
This shadow casts!
Profound Dazzlement!
Icicles formation. And
dripping as sun shines.
Brushing off the grotesque gloom
Inspiration, I oft zoom.
