Survival of the Fittest

Scurrying about...
Darting here and there... panicked
Whimpering feebly...
Brave predators lick their lips...
Caged, trapped... helpless... caught fast

Glower

The old world is dying,
And the new world struggles for birth,
It is then survival in the jungle,
The monstrous tussle,
Just for the fittest!
My oath to glower at life.

Survival of the Fittest

Watched a nature program about Africa last night Bout the animals that roam free, what a glorious sight Survival of the fittest Can make us grimace As the prey succumbs in a fight for their life

Motherhood

When a raptor chases
a small bird, to hunt and feed on
the bird may win or lose.
- Survival of the fittest

When a bird chases
a raptor, to save her children
the bird will inevitably win
- The power of motherhood

Bambie

Mother of the Deer
Barbie Matriarchs
Hunter stalker
Caught in sights of rifle shot
For sport and meat
Sorry my Dear
This is what people do
Like Jan the wise lady said
Survival of the fittest
Not the prettiest

Thinking Out Loud

'THINKING OUT LOUD' ~~~~~~~~~ If I could live by the courage of my convictions, only the fittest would survive. Am I a hypocrite? Yes, but then aren't all humans when it comes to their OWN FAMILY!

Whispering Grdens

where flowers once whispered
fainted petals lie forlorn
survival of the fittest
stand alone to mourn

uncovered soil shivering with chills
once gardens, now have lost their shading
a floral cemetery within one
whispers are now fading

The Commonwealth Games

You're going to be amazed here
comes the commonwealth games.

professional athletes putting on the
finest displays, what breath-taking
arrays of the fittest and the brave

We look on in awe, the devotion such
concentration to perform faultless
techniques, spot on!

If He Was Provost of a Prison

If he was the provost of a prison
He would open all of the cells
Let the prisoners decide among themselves
Who would live and who would die
They would dance into the yard
Laughing and carousing
Except for the small ones
Survival of the fittest
So aren’t you glad
he is not the provost of a prison?

Acrostic Poem of World Cup

W~ORLD CUP is here again.
O~rnament of a golden cup that bring all people
'R~ound the world into one canopy.
L~et us stay in glee and watch those to
D~raw,lose or win their matches.
C~ompetition is a survivial of the fittest.
U~nprepared,untalented,unlucky and non-prayerful
P~roduces lose and religation.

Hypnotic Pollution

Sitting on the clouds
I feel like flying
Above strawberry fields
I feel like crying

Some feelings I got
Something big is about to happen
Blowin over the heirs
Just to get to the kickoff

Like a magician
Flipin cards
Disappearing when the fields come
Everybody knows

This is survival of the fittest

Push and Shove

Is it or not

that the fittest make it

the weak may not

survival depends

on attitude

frame of mind

positivity

you come like

a tornado in

my face but

I can see through

the destruction

now it's position

that matters

status you say

 I say it is

a case of

push and shove

trying to dominate

time will sort it.

Survival of the Smartest

While counting down darn dire days In distant yet heartfelt embrace, Let’s play at home like days of old For front line courage to unfold. From this pandemic novel turn We shall withstand and we shall learn - Fittest is fine but last not least, The smartest ones shall best the beast. April 4, 2020

Working Out

Working Out

Decades ago
presidential elections were
every four years

Rest between sets
quiet days ward off
carabolic states

Now, the madness starts
on the first
Wednesday of November

Taper before the race
hydrate and carbo load
stretch and relax

Newscasters make predictions
hours after inauguration
“who is the fittest?”

The Food Chain

The lion and the Zebra in a duel of life
The hunter and the hunted
As spectator in the food chain
It can be daunting and also haunting

A run to catch the prey
Running away from the predator
This is normal in the Serenegeti
Survival of the fittest in the grasslands
It5the food chain making its rounds.

Peace

Peace be upon us
Peace be upon them
What we wish for us
We wish for them.

God made man and men turned into animals
Survival is for all not only for the fittest
Peace here peace there
Let’s take it everywhere

Let’s live here where love dwell
The love that is beyond the human nature
The nature of selfishness
Peace be upon people.

Life To Death

LIFE TO DEATH

Newborn struggles for existence on survival of fittest.
Leading life with associates on love, happiness, sorrow.
Lamenting on loss of dear ones ending in obituary.

Spot

Survival of the fittest –
Practically, trying my best…
Owning an applaud for future successes in excess – a failure I don’t detest
Terribly trying to pass this difficult test…apparently, I don’t give a ****! You’re a pet peeve, but grieve not – you’re a little pest in one spot and I’ll leave you with all the rest…rooted to the spot suddenly…embarrassed abruptly…
