For some it's simple,
Yet again,
I impulsively
Over explain!
In this day in age there are so few good people that can see the truth,
The truth that mutters (Society as a whole is the problem and the solution itself).

FEW WEEKS AWAY
A cold northwesterly breeze
Whips the nearly naked trees
A few pecans still tip the top
Unreachable by squirrels
Even if they hop
What makes
Children feel so happy, and
Feel overjoyed
When a bright
Red water balloon
Squirts and splashes
Water all over their faces
Just a few wees and a giggle
Rain?
The water in the bay
shines like polished dance floor
behind the beauty
a dark wall stretches upward
more rain is forecast
for this moment beauty prevails
If Man dedicated a few of his heartbeats to love each day
Heaven would not have remained from earth so far away!

Just wondering if snails ever think of leaving home.

calling for snow
clouds of doubt
swirled about
lingering
in view
one snowflake
gently landed
on my windshield
melting
like my heart

I was digging

Searching for what ....
I didn't know
In the dirt

That had turned into a stone

Is all I had to burn
