The people gathered to fatten

Can do one in

Letter To Kenyan Electorate
The books are open
to us who fatten
mice into pigs

even tho' u limp, brethren
crawl to the ward
take seat in the arena

shortly,
curtains will part
To you : Be brutal!...

Man From Manhattan
Man From Manhattan

There once was a man from Manhattan
Whose piggy bank his Dad did fatten
He had tiny hands
For such a large man
But that never kept him from grabbing

Premium Member Regarding My Calories Aka Crap
How faithfully my calories I count.
Believe me, I have counted them
since age fifteen. Oh, the amount
of food for decades I had!
But after each new decade - CRAP!
Metabolism slows down. Things get bad.
I recalculate calories or exercise more.
Otherwise, I fatten. THAT I deplore!

Charred
charred and smooth
black inside white enamel
decadence from the inside out
that evil temptress here to steal a tooth
and replace it so sweet with caramel
to fatten my mouth and fill it stout

sparkling and rugged
white inside black soot
decadence from the outside in
mine own mistress bruised and mugged
rotten from the brain to foot
whip me right in my ugly sin...

Premium Member Metamorphosis
words lay eggs on paper.
           in time,
they break their prison shells,
          crawl out,
        eat and fatten

but may sneak out like hermits
           meditate
     in the hard crusts
           of silence

at the end of Metamorphosis,
        they flit round
        like butterflies

moving in crisscross patterns
           before our
        perceptive eyes!...

The Life of the Turkey ( If They Only Knew )
The turkeys life starts from an egg being layed.
The egg finally hatches and a little turkey's made.
Month after month they begin to be fed.
To fatten them up to go with mashed potatoes and bread.
They'll be served on that day we call Thanksgiving.
If they knew that they only have a few days of living.
We keep it a secret about the approaching day.
When we butcher them up to be served on a tray....

Disruptive Disruptors
The internet providers grin
We are at home locked in
Their gadgets stuck in China
They think their disruption is minor

Security checks your temperature
Offering you a sanitizer adventure
China makes everything you need
Except your staple feed

World Bank and IMF help more, the political core
Offshore accounts to fatten more
We are ready for vaccine trials now
The stronger our fields to plow...

"they Used My Own Ink Againt Me"
my PEN
it posioned myself
stabed by my blood words
I drunk and choked on the biter tastes
left by the rode side
by my own thoughts
of doing good deeds
come kick me
good rich neighbor
seal my children fate
fatten your great reputation
by the crimes you do to all other
the ones that
are done in back allys
let them eat cake
but were are all flowers
to put too my
baked over cheated
poorly dressed fate...

Premium Member Burlap and Satin
Considered a debonair through and through I got used to the most expensive hotels. And I was catered to and pampered, that's true, oft dinning on steaks and oysters on half shells. But I fell in love with the country in you, and before I knew it, I heard wedding bells; moved to the homestead, and watched the pigs fatten, a combination of burlap and satin. Laughter
Forgive me for my seriousness
But I possess some humor, too;
Though my preference is that mood
Which I laugh last ‘til I’m blue.

I am no slapstick comedian
Like goofballs dance for a minute;
I’d rather make you laugh at your pain
So you won’t be so stupid.

Laughter’s a blessing, not a toy;
Cheap jokes and gossip are robbed of joy;
So fatten your wits ‘fore our chat starts,
In the end’s all fun and good for your heart....

Easter
The Easter Bunny left some eggs.
Hard hollow chocolate sweets.
A wicker basket holding them
still packaged bright and neat.

The tallest treat a solid bunny.
The basket handle touching.
Two hundred grams of gnawing fat
below the handle crouching.

A nest of shreded tissue paper
holding all things in.
Enough to make you fatten
when you'd rather you were thin.

Your basket coloured purple
suited for an Easter Spring.
The feeling spirits risen
more than chocolate candies bring....
