A Falsetto Prophet wails a melancholy tune
with notes truly seldom heard.
A majestic tree fallen in a silent forest

The Falsetto Generations
I was one of the baby boomers
And we were raised differently
The subsequent generations
Have developed much more selfishly
They are the falsetto generations
Because they always go me me me...

Murder at the Prom

Frankie Lyman shrilled his falsetto.
Gwendolyn Gould danced in stilettos.
So callously smothered,
they never recovered.
Poor little piggies, scrunched little toes.

To My Bride
Love is a name
I talked to myself
To understand
Why you'd stick around
For my falsetto

Today I match
And say
Something I write
On every napkin note
Every day

My lips and breath are yours
I just need your love
Always...

Foster Jenkins, Heiress and Indomitable Operatic Disaster
She never entered a ghetto.
She perfected a high-pitched falsetto.
At the Carnegie Hall
she could both enthrall and appall
as she shredded every libretto.

She's up there with her heavenly peers,
Where many angels must now plug their ears...

Beneath a Willow
In my thought I
Huddled beneath a willow
Where, a lady

Butterfly rendered
Her olden lullabies
In a soft falsetto

Seeing her, wings flap
Against the uncomfortable
Wind, in my thought

As I huddled
Beneath a willow is enough
To bring peace and hope...

Untitled
Promiscuous shadows haunt the night
Forging their maps by day
Passing through the ethereal unseen
Lunging lurid luscious

Empires of sadistic interludes teach verse
In exchange for tempered instrumental falsetto
How can the night be so quiet?

In your city, on your street
Inside
Without warning.

A dog barks and out bursts
The answer....

Premium Member No Doctor Is Perfect
It’s hard to believe but true:
doctors do make mistakes;
but on the whole they’re few.
And yet it demonstrates
what we should all expect,
that doctors aren’t perfect.
As for your surgeon’s removal
of what he mistook as a double
tumor growing in the area
of your groin, your falsetto
whining sounds like a soprano
practicing a difficult aria....

Old Tim and his tulips of Spring,
he tips and he toes as he sings.
His falsetto voice
is higher by choice—
love’s shrill in the tulips with fling.

In bloom is his hair and moon lights
his face, like a pastoral sprite.
Strums ukulele—
his song sung gaily.
In tulips come Spring and warm nights.

Your Voice
When I hear your voice
Makes me feel like my favorite color Blue
It’s calming and exciting too
Releasing all my bound energy
Does my body good listening to you
Your Riffs sound like a Cello playing in a symphony Enunciating certain words that gives me pleasure
I love your Vocal range from baritone to falsetto
Hearing you sing I hope its forever...

Premium Member Food For Thought
Such energy of ease I embrace,
Paints the quaint falsetto I trace.
The breath of words I listen
Sees brown eyes that glisten
Doubts of Direction?
Stiff in motion?
Forget it!
Stop! Drop!
Care?
Flair!
In pain?
All in vain!
All in your head!
That smile dropped my file
Hence, keep it for a while
You’ll never know it’s purpose
It’s your heart no one can purchase
They’re hugs and kisses I can’t forget!...

Premium Member A Tongue-In-Cheek Christmas Poem
'Twas the night before Christmas
On the village square.
Carolers were singing.
Everyone was there.

My daddy was a baritone
But his falsetto filled the air.
Mama shrunk his boxers;
They're not ready-to-wear.

He asked Santa for some new ones;
He didn't dare go bare.
So, on Christmas morning,
Santa left a spare.

Now daddy has a pair
That couldn't give a care.
He's back to singing bass
Thanks to his Duluth underwear.

Premium Member The Liar Vampire
Our sweet breakfast guest was a vampire.
His finger eating I did admire.
Listened to Philharmonic Choir
His falsetto lit the house on fire
Favorite apple pie was a Macintyre
We had purchased them in Lincolnshire
Blood was his favorite drink, his desire.
I thought it looked ugly and smelled rather dire.
He was great as it said in the flyer.
We went swinging on an old black tire.
I was sly, but frankly, he was slyer.
He said he would not turn me. Oh, that liar!...

Un Ange Passez
Morning sun thumbs the thicker heart strings
With a shudder bass of pleasure
Adding rhythm to tenor falsetto wren songs
In suddenly lit shadowed crevasses
Still enjoying the quietnesses of sleep
A hawk screams in delight of rising air
We sip our fresh ground percolations
naked in the hot still water
Watching humming birds taste and guard feeders
Suddenly we're spell bound
She's all white, an angel
Her wings a halo of flourescence.
We are now awake....

Falsetto
I can see the false hope and doom,
the hissing in the breath,
Sorrowful, baleful emotionless,
every word reeks of death.

The masses that follow blinded now,
forever will they weep,
Appointing a puppet of false hope,
The rage and anger we reap.

Anger fills the glasses full,
confusion fills the mind,
My heart now torn, as a tattered flag,
doom for all mankind.

To settle now for this false hope,
my desire to amend,
To watch our world fall apart,
the loss of a life long friend....

Whom I Did Not Love?
Greetings to you, O, lovely sky
Show me my precious butterfly

Here I am before your majesty
Let us live tomorrow in purity

Like we were together yesterday
Watching the sun faded into gray

Time quickly passes
Age, suddenly, increases

Yet still, I am all alone
Sitting on your marble throne

Can’t you see me from above?
As I pronounce to you my love

In my own song of soft falsetto
Oh, remain to me, not in incognito

So, tell me Athena, my love
Whom I did not love?...
