Upon the Mount with crowds gathered round
Jesus began the Law to expound.
But first for right attitudes
he taught them Beatitudes.
Then hearing in awe all were spellbound.
Matthew 5.1-12
Aggressive, befitting candor,
defies empathetic fervor.
Grave honesty is just,
kindness literally must not.
Omen partakes ***** retribution,
savoring tantamount usurpation.
Vulgar words expound,
yields to zero
I sat in thought and commenced to strum
my head with four fingers and one thumb,
and realized, as I now expound:
the biggest nothing around
weighs less than a pound -
and you thought I was dumb!
If I see you in heaven,
will you still be eleven?
Or will you have grown into a man ~ dark, handsome, and tall?
And when we converse,
will you be able to expound on the universe?
Or will your thinking still be eleven years small?

In four and sixty syllables
He strains to squeeze some thoughts profound
Into unyielding manacles
Of 8x8 form, tightly-bound.
He seeks to hand-pick words that sound
Unforced by metric obstacles
That sing and sensibly expound -
In short, do verbal miracles!
Sitting round the table with my glass in hand,
Thoughts come into my ear
I sense that world out there and go,
Foot places set, cleared and fair.
Oxen, lambs, bird and song
Time places things in front of us
And we have that moment to expound.
Dear afterthought !
Some will find out who they are
then write of what they’ve found
And some will write to unmask
who they are as they expound
One spawns introspection
and a self-deliberate tone
The other births a magic ride

Every time all the time
All the way
Throughout the line
It's always her
On the damn dime
All around she'll be found
In the rhyme
Love her kind
Like compound
Type confound
Expound resound
She is love
She is sunshine
So fine with wine
Cool rhyme
I resign
ice in the line of fire
prevention of a melting heart
we expound on certain pages in certain chapters
we inspire ourselves from the intentions of the messages
quietly we pray for better days and divine experiences
there is sunshine even when it rains,
and the unification of our love shines through
