When love is experienced,
it is always.

Lost love is as a raindrop
in a puddle.
An evaporated puddle 
remains water;
and so does its imprint:

Though we can’t often keep 
track of the time,
its footprints remain;

of undying love—gone 
but still here....

I was so glad each one of these attempts did fail.
