He was already an immensely popular poet but I think the show sorta makes his work more known for people who don't typically read poetry. But the clerihew is all in good fun... This will be my fav, out of all the clerihew of Edgar Allan Poem, I have Favorited in the past. Poor, Poor Poe Is dead.. Did you know, Edgar Allan Poe died in the hospital on Sunday, October 7, 1849..... :-( :-( well his death gave drama to his bio. Anyways the coolest thing about Oct 7th besides Poe's death and Simon Cowell birthday.... I was born October 7 ..
