Smirk
Light rest its head within my arms
and with dimmed gasp
elapsed
And in the dark
all that is left is feeling
and beauty
lives
in the dark...

In Everything There Is An Universe
There is infinite light
in the tiny light...
There is an endless universe,
in a solitary seed,
there is a huge sky
inside the heart...
There is a complete eternity
 in each minute elapsed...
 Not last, because
time does not pass,
 it is eternal...!...

A Redemptive Shroud By: Miracle Man 1/30/2019 Hospital days elapsed slowly As Heavens choir auditioned. Today, I'm cognizant of the fact That my time is being amortized, And that God's redemptive love Surrounds me like a pall.

Nameless Grace of Night
Laying against the sunset with gloomy song of old
Overcame you star of my dream all the malice of my age
Very lonely there I was years and days before
Every moment then is counted love as your dawn as my rise

Malady
Elapsed

And the magic cure is you
Nice and sweet
Nameless grace of night...

Love In a Locket
Tokens of past, wrapped in memories
All ribbons tied, preserving its treasures
Those precious moments, elapsed in time
Thoughts bring forth, those sentimental pleasures

Forever to be, love and devotion
Promised in vows, we remained together
Counting the years, each day blessed
I will repeat, I do forever...

Premium Member Recalling My Twin Flame
My flame leaped for happiness when it found
its twin burning brightly in the night.
We made such a beautiful fire.
Before it could get higher,
my twin flame had to go
far away…… back home.
Three years elapsed. . .
his phone call
came too
late.

Amaze Your Friends With Words Unsaid
Poetry is time elapsed thinking is what we do
Our minds wonder thought empty space
Thinking of what to say
If others can not hear then our meanings are lost into space

If writing down one word cannot be heard
Deaf they are for without words of meaning
This world is lost
So, speck your mind write poetry each and

Premium Member Forgotten Dreams
In darkness I sleep
A photoplay of dreams
Shards of light wakes me
To virgin sunbeams

Reluctantly I rise
And pull down the shades
Head hits the pillow
All consciousness fades

Momentary blindness
Dreams reappear
Short time elapsed
Seems like a year

A new day dawns
Feeling so rotten
Try as I may
All dreams forgotten...

Premium Member The Droplet
A droplet of ink formed at nib of pen I flung it swiftly, seeing it as waste. Then theorized what it might have been Had I not acted in such great haste. An aborted word, or merely a smudge That in my haste I'd neglected to blot. Time elapsed, but my mind wouldn't budge From that small unassuming black spot.

A Moss Covered Valentine
A moss covered valentine lays upon a tombstone ---
Forgotten sentiments are stenciled upon it's fabric ---
Hopes and plans for the future,
in which to drink love's potion has elapsed ---
Leaving in it's place this elixir ---
Which turned out to be of sepentine's blood ---
So now what once was a stroll of romance,
has become a walk to a sullen grave....

Elusive Dreams By: Miracle Man 1/29/2019 My Memories, Are often the rebirth of dreams. Of times or places, long since elapsed, Of faces, suddenly to vague to retrieve. Dreams during the April of my life, Now are convoked in December. Elusive dreams that haven't disappeared, But have lurked in the shadows, Awaiting today's awakening.

Silent Witness
In the land of eternity
At Elflame,
Where the nymphs lived
Grew a giant mahogany tree

Memories rely on its every leaf
Reddish-brown trunks,
Darkens over time
Silent witness of the elapsed days

Laughter and joy
Pain and sorrow
A complete life extravaganzas
That sealed by fate

In every rotation of seasons
Remain upright stand
Full of hopes and dreams
An old mahogany tree...

December 5th 2020 By: Miracle Man Today, I sit, drowning in memories of elapsed time. Time spent in other places, reviewing vague and unnamed faces. Remembering times when I was all about doing and I allotted little time for dreaming. Then, all was forward looking, as I had little past, Long before the golden (rust) years had cast their net, but I digress, reality is now. Tom

Festival
Life is happiness embodied;
Happiness evolves from celebration;
Celebration presupposes glory;
Glory is an epitome of hard work;
Hard work is foundation of human life;
Encompassing these, Life becomes a
FESTIVAL
Yeah…
Life is a Festival—
Rejoice and celebrate
Toil and earn
Achieve and accomplish—
Certainly NOT an Occasion to be elapsed.
Every day is ceremonious;
Go with a smile and
Success is certain....

Hampton Beach
Hampton Beach

The smell of fresh fry doe
Time had elapsed playing at the casino
Fresh lobster with a side order of fries
 Those spacious wonderful sky's
Down at the shell the continental were playing
A walk by the lady of a statue in waiting
Flip flops and the sound of laughter
A playground for kids in the middle
The boardwalk with seagulls flocking over head
Fire works in the midnight air with a cheer...

If
If I encounter you tomorrow,
just we two, face to face,
would we feel that same old yearning
or have years elapsed erased
the excitement, the deep longing
just the nearness of you brought?
Did I ever really love you?
Were you everything I thought
you were, or was I simply naïve,
misguided and quite foolish
expecting you would always be
all my young heart could ever wish?

This Eve
This Eve

	As the candle
Burns from both of its wicks,
	Into the night and
Into the dawn, the mind tricks,
	The moon rises
This eve to its most full,
	Seven full nights
Is elapsed that is the rule,
	Tides will cycle
Throughout this due week,
	Upon the full moon
The tides consequencely peak,
	Did you know that 90%
Of your body is made up of water,
	That means you have
A lot of water—weight the latter.

Window Gazing On Borrowed Time Written: by Tom Wright 4/29/2018 Leaning on the window sill the sunset I see, Nearing eight decades I’ve been on earth. Encapsulated in the beauty God’s given me, God counting each second since my birth; “Why should thou die before thy time?”* We should do God’s will until life is ended. Now, many elapsed years from my prime, God has blessed and my days are extended. *Ecclesiastes 7:17 KJV

Essence of Soft Shadows- Contest
the essence of soft shadows cast up on my bedroom door every night
i am watching as the silhouette of your body moves so slowly
but yet so swift to leave

every night
the dark contour of your shape reminds me of what i have let drift away
as your outline reaches for the doorknob
it seems as if your figure gives one final stare
and walks out the doorway

every night
your shadow evokes every thought of you
and how you elapsed
from my grasp
