Window Gazing On Borrowed Time
Window Gazing On Borrowed Time

Leaning on the window sill the sunset I see,
Nearing eight decades I’ve been on earth.
Encapsulated in the beauty God’s given me,
God counting each second since my birth;
“Why should thou die before thy time?”*
We should do God’s will until life is ended.
Now, many elapsed years from my prime,
God has blessed and my days are extended.
*Ecclesiastes 7:17 KJV
