Forgotten Dreams

In darkness I sleep
A photoplay of dreams
Shards of light wakes me
To virgin sunbeams

Reluctantly I rise
And pull down the shades
Head hits the pillow
All consciousness fades

Momentary blindness
Dreams reappear
Short time elapsed
Seems like a year

A new day dawns
Feeling so rotten
Try as I may
All dreams forgotten

Jerry Brotherton August 7, 2023 at 5:30 PM I write some amazing stuff in my dreams only to lose them when I open my eyes. Randy Freie August 7, 2023 at 11:34 PM Hi Jerry, I always thought it would be great if you could record your dreams on video and then watch them later with your friends. Well at least after you made sure there wasn't anything on it you didn't want anyone else to see. Maybe future technology will make that possible. Until then, dream on.
