Dull drowsy day to pass,
Mere musing in a meadow -
Lazy, lounging on grass.

oh God, the sight, scent and sound
closer now, closer
let the droning, drowsy hum
of honey bees drift softly...
Mend my soul that is achin'
Open for me the gateway to heaven
Make my drowsy spirit awaken
Heal my mind and my heart that is broken
So still.

Drowsy vista glow,
dwindling radiant golden.
Daylight’s recall lost.
drowsy cricket songs
call orange-black wings to rest
on yellow ragweed
hunting with broomsticks
bent coat hangers and cheesecloth
we chase summer dreams
satires to correct ill in society
metaphors to wake the drowsy
hyperbole to inquiry into justice
ironies to point the right way
imagism to ask for attention
door opens moon drowsy
a shadow slips into bed
furry darkness swells
I already feel a little tipsy
And yet i have thoughts to drawn
Countless sips and i am feeling drowsy
A m no more of a restricted self
I m willing to let things go
yawns are contagious
especially afternoon
in a lecture hall
boring professor grouses

In his sleep one said.
Wake up,they called,
In drowsy refrain.
Each voice echoes
Yet urgent and clear.

Bumped between summer sweat and winter wallop ~ Fall’s gilded glory glows
Drowsy diurnal dreams drop like raindrips ~ from my quenching quill
feathery cloud floats,
drowsy lake yawns, slow sailboats,
warm breeze takes off coats
The drowsy eye of the crescent moon
fights sleep to keep a watch over the world
And on the nights when it fails and
loses its battle
The stars will be sent to
take it's place
Empty, drunken beer cans
clatter noisily down an empty,
sober alley
under a drowsy neon halo
of a tipsy lamp post
beneath a groggy moon!
the sun set on the peaceful meadow
where clustered colours yawned
feigning a sleepy drowsy state
for bees and butterflies to take their leave
