one candle can light another
without diminishing itself
the light of God thus lights all lights
including the light of our Self
so whispering breeze
the wind slight diminishing
speak channeling waves

As my days are fast diminishing in number
I regret that many of them wasted in slumber!

Mentally insane person or a wily wise sage?
Alternating between tackling worldly or mystical matters
Diminishing the fine line between madness and genius.
shared a kiss goodbye
took in the scent of the rose
my eyes see nothing
heard crows call from distant trees
that is until the lid closed.

Gold sun rays filter
A golden glow through Willow
Expose gold tipped blooms
Cobalt Blue streaks SkyBlue sky
Diminishing as day flies

Her billowing dress beckons me
Her bouncing curls wave to me.
Her retreating footsteps fading away
Her diminishing frame bidding me adieu.
I realise my mistake - too late.
I never valued her love- bad fate.
Noticed recently my readership is diminishing
Guess people find in my limericks, something's missing
The pathos, the drama
Or the ills of marijuana
Well, the ones still loyal, deserve my kissing!
UMMAAA!
The Well
Dreams staying still
Null, brittle devoid
From Cosmo's mold
Diminishing to depths
Out of the well
Voices moving in harmony
Utter resonances swell
Instinct and fears
Stinging the senses
As rebuilding fences
I have seen people just about starting,
There’re others at the end of the rope
crisis ridden and with anguish smarting
and latched onto a diminishing hope
With sorrow no longer able to cope.

When in the presence of great art
I feel pathetically diminished
whereas I hoped it might impart
some little power of its greatness
into my ever diminishing existence,
so that I walk away quite famished –
or worse, vanquished!
without a denial
life is brief and sticky sweet
tobacco claims me
ingested, it now eats me
still, it draws me, my lover
malformed cells heedless
spread diminishing myself
imploding, anxious
still I rise blessing, loving
cancer is not me, I am
One day
I saw
Up high
Above, a
Discernable shape
Of a Golden Eagle,
Scavenger supreme,
Gliding solitary,
Amid a sky
Of cerulean hue.
Suddenly,
It veered left,
Diminishing,
In height,
Then sight,
Finally receding,
Beyond
The Mountain
Of Bennachie.

Built farms upwards in tiers: O! Vertigo!

Now he sows wild oats in Infierno!

Maybe we should erect a love story to Croydon
Celebrate its Pound shops
and diminishing shopping spaces
Love a shank bone instead of a unmeritorious knife
and await the snow
hoping its gritted
in your Bankrupt Croydon
so wonderfully mismanaged
JOLTED BY TWILIGHT
Dusk by its very name, is gentle.
Diminishing light at the end of the day
Yet, there are occasional exceptions
Such as a sudden brilliance in the sky
Cause unknown, but still surprising
Jolted by twilight
Looking to the horizon
It’s another sun
crowds illegal
gatherings banished
events cancelled
church forbidden
handshake hesitation
hugs unwelcome
touch diminishing
connection seeking
kindness desired
generosity needed
prayers embraced
smiles still legal
laughter not banished
phone calls welcome

Streak of light
"Cross a darkening sky
Travel afar
To meet my eye.
Not seen for many
A decade past
Return once more
through spaces vast.
Diminishing brightness
Fades to grey
This rock and ice
Recede away.
Once more to hurl
Through time and space
Away from us
The human race.
She is not just any old ship.
She is a warrior, tried and true.
USS Iowa.
I have a plethora of stories about her.
That I share with no one.
For to share would feel like being dismissive.
I cannot dishonor her by disclosing her secrets.
It would feel also like diminishing my time served.
This fate is severely mangled
fierce storms define its exterior
And in this daze,
they do not cease
Heartstrings tear its beliefs,
and fatality enjoys it
Shades withstand its
diminishing effects
So without pace
its slowing trance atones
Passion draws its pangs
and futility reminds it

Busy busy day
No time to stop~pray
Internal strong light
Diminishing out
Candle going now
If only prayed
A few seconds
Feeding candle
Holy Spirit
No prayer
Candle flame
Now flickers
Small test
Lights out
Sad

One moment is a do-over for another,
we are chained to on-going trains of thought,
yet the mind is an ever diminishing cloud
let it disappear into clarity.
What am I saying?
Let clouds pass, be an observer.
Soon the watcher
will be the one you watch.
Keep watching
soon you will disappear.
I feel the world crashing around me,
my breath fading.
Pain surges through my body.
I fear my hope of life is diminishing.
All is lost I can feel the regret of every lost sole.
I long for relief but all I feel is torture.
When will it all end, when will the last hour be, how will I suffer death?

The lights are dimmed
On our normalcy
Time is up and
We have to leave
Don't look that way
We both agreed
Trust me
It wont kill you to breathe
No hours left
To conclude our answers
We can't go back
We spent the chances
We MUST lose the meaning
In our glances
Diminishing echoes
Of silent dances.
