Limerick: Once An Upset Farmer In Xin Jia Po

Limerick: Once an upset farmer in Xin Jia Po

Once an upset farmer in Xin Jia Po*
Built farms upwards in tiers: O! Vertigo!
Produce diminishing
UFOs pilfering
Now he sows wild oats in Infierno!

Very many thanks, Seren, for remarking that this limerick appears to you to be funny. That's also of course part of the genre's appeal, apart from it being - normally supposed to be - salacious (among other things): not in this case, I'm afraid. Might I point out "sows" in the poem happens to be a verb. Every good wish for the New Year! Wignesan
