Kinetic Typeface Karma
Kinetic journalist
words swerve in outlooks
Stashing produce
In an overproduced monkey-fist world

Our evolution spells
Desertion or soil-reversing
To untangle the fist
And document inner bliss...

A Penny
A Penny

It’s easily tossed or put aside

As if it has no worth, or no pride

It’s the last to go back into circulation

It’s often stored away as in desertion

It’s often alone, just one single penny

But when the jar gets full

It’s one of many...

which fears desertion
creating

The Night
The night, give's me, the silence..
And..
Whispered the trees..,
River flow..!
,
Night is a friend of my Loneliness.., ,
While whining of the sky
Grows in the water..!
As for me..
I walk behind my footsteps such as idiotic..,
Do desertion hiding, behind indifference..? !

Penal Case
I knew there would be
A price to pay
For my desertion.

I wasn’t afraid
But expectant,
Waiting for the fee,
Looking forward to a clean start.

When nothing happened
I realized
This was the penalty;

Allowed to be free,
Allowed to follow
My own path;
Left empty by my guardian god....

The abscessed wounds of
a betrayed heart fester
from desertion and deceit.
.
She takes solitude in shadows
gnawing herself red and raw,
rankling in private torment;
gnashing her teeth.

Until pain and grief turn noxious
with a fury justly sworn
to the retributory scourge
of a woman's woeful scorn....

Refugees
Eastwards Westwards
we know the direction
Playing tricks with the mind
We thought we knew the best
Down Convents Hill
the stone Angels sing
Desertion is not even an option
open the flanks
play your banjo
In evening we have everything to gain
in the holy calm
the marble passages
past our golden days...

Thoughtless Departure
You have left me without leaving,
Your presence here beyond deceiving.
We share a space where you are not,
You’ve gone on to I know not what.
Desertion was not your plan at all,
But your mind, by a siren call,
Loosed our forever knot,
And left me looking where you’re not
For the love and life we shared,
Shattered now with no hope spared....

Deserted
Cheeks red from tears and an empty heart.
Left alone to suffocate and freeze in a dark vacuum of loneliness.
Walking alone, fingers numb from the feeling of desertion.
Freezing my reality and icing the cold streets of life.
The body slowed by the chill of despair and collapsing on the roads of society, frosting over the state of mind and left
in the dark to sleep....

Desertion
The poor lady was waiting
On a stripped mouldy street
Her feeble lungs were panting
For drops of moisture
She trembled with broken sob
She was not a bird
Her broken heart took wings
Just to give a newborn kiss and hug
She was waiting
Shivering in hunger
Deserted as a graveyard
In bloodcurdling desolation
She fell in with an incessant emotion
Love is a bland name....

Discoveries
DISCOVERIES

Along a summer street crammed to bursting point
By an indifference of brick walls -
I come across a suddenness of dandelions
On a bulding site after the rain falls.

A sea beach filled by desertion
And rock pools half-buried,
With a rusty shell casing abandoned
In retreat by ranks serried.

Rain and sea offer nothing
New, merely reveal near-forgotten
Implants in the stream of time sodden ....

Desertion

the wind whispers “lonely”
at the roller coaster pier
where happy screams of delight fright
still haunt the atmosphere

the rust moans “empty”
on a deserted Ferris Wheel
where lovers sought the height of night
now only girders squeal

the sky speaks in thunder
above the amusement park
a place where children’s laughs of glee
echo in cold and dark

Wanton and Lost
The suddenness of desertion,
the emptiness of time

Abandoning each moment,
as clocks strike their chime

And wherego the hours,
once used and cast off

Are there auctions and markets
for each second that’s lost

And who’s to recount
the old wishes unprayed

With days ever changing,
and voices relayed

The end a beginning,
the beginning an end

To drift in its circle
—time never respent

(Dreamsleep: September, 2020)...

Delighted Bleeding
blood, death, darkness.
i'm watching
mystery,horror, insanity.
it's on the screen
violence, depth,desertion.
i can't look away.

why don't i want to?
it's so pretty.
it's wonderful.
why am i still smiling?
 it's so...red...
it's so intelligently created.
why am i still laughing?
it's leaving.
it's reveling.
am i the only one who's insane?
darkening.
bleeding.
why am i so comfortable?

because i'm sitting at the throne of sin....
