And hears birds’ silent chorus of mourning
In the deep shadows of autumn
As they gather strength for the cold ahead
A short-sighted barber named Dave
Bid folks to 'Sit down and be brave!'
With ears and neck snipped,

The time past eve
when darkness grows,
and stars arrive
in velvet carriage,
'tis a time of lending
dreams to romance,
as gentle kisses prosper,

way beyond

like the sun
pulling the night
softly behind
you like a curtain

We seem to act
Of our own volition..
Departing this place
Of our own volition..
Coffee..not tea..
Unquestioned choosing..
But does the simple sneeze
