The Constant

In weathered age it regresses
A weathered mind which one assesses
For there's only one
That time caresses
Only one
That time possesses.

2012

Theres been movies and myths for sure

Only time will tell if there will be gore

So we wait and wait

For our what if ending date

So now we wait, time is a bore

Time

Tic Tac goes the clock
And time don’t rewind
So don’t waste time
because you only have One time to shine.
Make your light be so bright that not even
The darkest night darken your inner light.

When Darkness Grows

The time past eve
when darkness grows,
and stars arrive
in velvet carriage,
'tis a time of lending
dreams to romance,
as gentle kisses prosper,
lifting hope
for lives entwined;
and hearts remember
way beyond
their departing.

Time

Caught up in life
No time to sit still
Never having quiet time with myself
Always busy in the loudness of the world

These days end too quickly
The nights are too brief
My time on earth is running out
What must I do to slow it down

Thief

No time for thinking,
Or for any blinking.
Life moves rapidly,
increasing steadily.

It runs by time itself,
No more do you recognize yourself.
Wrinkles and gray hair,
a body with tears and wear.

The thief runs by unperceived,
leaving the naked eyed deceived.
But the body does know,
And the truth of time it shows.

Ravenous Clocks

Time goes sprinting by.
Like an animal it flees.
Seconds Minutes Hours Days.
Quickly ticked away.
The clock is a hungry mouth.
Eating away all the time.

Eagerly it goes.
Swiftly sailing, soaring. Gone.
A thousand years in a blink.
Then your time is spent.
You can only hope to know,
Exactly where your time went.

Time

Ticking away is the clock,
which slowly moves on.
No time shall ever pass,
between the realm of life.
Thinking what I have done,
and that I shouldn't have,
It's more about the time I have spent,
to fulfil my wildest dreams.
Thinking back the days I've wasted,
Thinking about it now.
It's time that has wasted,
it's time that begone.

Off the Clock

Time wastes it’s own time in
a fury to get it over –

The clocks fall over in a useless
attempt to stop –

The key to wind the clock disappears
into the night –

The clocks strike one by one in
their own ways –

Some for the last time make
the effort to control –

One day all the clocks will stop
and there will be no pressure –

Writing Time

Time was spent...
     Time went down...
     Time has gone this day.
For the ticking of the seconds,
     Always seem to fade away.

But there is the singular moment...
When Time stands still for you...
It is in the apprehension, fear, or elation felt.
Writing is the bane of Time...ALONE,
Where you must face Time - Head On!

Premium Member It Was Only a Matter of Time

It was only a matter of time
Before times day was outnumbered

Everything must come to an end
And in the end time does too

So, time already knew this
But took its time with a grain of salt

Oh, I mean sand
Like an hourglass

Your time is at hand
Time comes to a stop not just dividend

Time wears its best face
So, like time be efficient or your time will erase

Timeless Clock

Few mortals, in this hurried time
    and age,
take time to listen to the timeless
    ticking
of the Clock that runs the whole
    universe
and measures time in aeons
    and lightyears.

Fewer still are those who clock
    the speed
of swift neutrons in billionths
    of a second
just to pick the fruit of supreme
    human will
from the tree of knowledge of good
    and evil!

Time

In the blink of an eye
Time has passed
In that same time
You had grown
I missed the progression
The achievements
I am sorry for not seeing
For not knowing
That time would be my enemy
And that because of it
I became yours.

I am but a man
Seeking forgiveness now
Because only now
I know time won’t stop
And that now is the time
I have on this earth
To try and get you
To forgive me.
Please give me time.

Aging Thoughts

I remember when time didn’t last a day
When the sun settled upon a hill without a plan
Orange glowing
Crickets chirping… “dawn is setting”

Grass so light onto sleep
And time never passed my brain

If time were not to exist
I could sleep in, crush the covers between my fingers

Pause
Stop and explain what you missed
In awe of your ignorant bliss

Relish your childlike grin
Forever in search of within

Lifetime

You can not regain lost time
for it is spent
Past
forever gone
The moment to hesitate is through
No way to turn those hands back
Retreat return – no, never
Seconds tick by
onwardly marching
For time it stops for no one

And yet the future
now is time
for change
for remembering
for recollecting
effecting what may be
doing things for the now
living life with no regrets
move on
for life time is precious

Forgotten Old Chair...

Dusty lonely antique chair
lost your lustre modern fare
whittled wooden hardback saddle
broken wheeled tipping mantle

Covering floor with aged graces
missing party interfaces
one time sat a master...mistress,
now forgotten sitting listless

What accounts you must bestow
stories written young and old
ledgers full of erudition,
...alphabetic composition

Once a time of well oiled use
forgotten,time has made recluse....

Timeless!!!

There's no time to be happy
There's no time beyond the books
There's no time to look at you
Amidst this world which is full of desires,
There's no time to desire the desire
All are busy with materialistic things
There's no time to talk fluent to people
Share their nature, sorrow and happiness
Is this the TIME we call?

Hands

I take shallow breaths as your hands move over me for the last time
if i could stop your movement it wouldnt be the last time.
yet you continue to go consistent with change,
while i deteriorate along with my name.

Your said to be an illusion but i can feel you when i ache
when for 100th time my heartbreaks. no matter how many times you
still havent numbed the pain you dont live up to your name the hands
of time are supposed to heal all pains

I Felt Like I Was Walking With You In Heaven

I found myself going back in time
deep within my mind

And I started remembering
the memories that we were
able to share with each other

When you and I were able to
spend some quality time together

Walking through the forest in the misty rain
down by the bridge next to the stream

And as long as I live I will never forget
just how special I felt back then

Because if only for a brief moment in time

I felt like I was walking with you in Heaven

Reflections

When we look into our mirror
Who's the face we see
Visions of our yesterday
Of What we used to be

We see the faults and failures
That the game of life has caused
Or is it just a dim mirage
That time has somehow paused

Our dreams of future victories
That we've hidden in our heart
Or nightmares of a forgotten past
That tears our soul's apart

It's only life's reflections
Of a time that's passed us by
For the one that's looking back at you
Is only just a lie
