Corkscrew through depths of
aquatic oblivion
whirls of confusion.
Numbered sheep blaat in cyclones
and wake my unconcious mind....

Premium Member She Rode On the Back of a Cyclones Tail
She rode on the back of a cyclone’s tail.
We did not put it together until years later.
I am sure she was standing
Probably did not fall once, knowing her.
She left on the back of Hailey’s Comet,
The only one who saw it, as it was completely unscheduled....

Telemarketing Memories
I used to telemarket
Met a lot of would be actors and actresses there
The work was onerous
not as onerous as some jobs
Now I work at ESL and write verse
and articles
I plan to see the Brooklyn Cyclones play soon
As for tea
    I take mine green
    I take mine

Storm Warning
A hurricane of stimulation,
  a tornado of thought

Blowing through the vast unknowing,
  our natures to be caught

When doubt sits high on light’s horizon,
  storm warnings there portend

Whose cyclones of enlightenment
  —with hailstones shape and bend

When does the cyclone grow more shallow?
In the circling world, when does the fight become futile?
Your love is an ocean I only see now as a rivulet
Between the cracks of a sidewalk.
I'm there now with a cup, and the universe,
Which does not know me, and will not know me when I leave.

Premium Member Man Outmanned
Life beats him down
  Man springs up again
History assures him: Tyranny will triumph
Man outmanned rises up against evil

Diseases plague him endlessly
  Eliminate one; two more appear

Tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones
Destroy his homes, his cities, his storehouses
Resolute, he rebuilds them---over and over again......

Sometimes, we whirl in daily cyclones
Troubles come about to deal with
But in the midst of it all,
           Focus on beauty helps
              All surrounding us
                  Beautiful sky
               Bright sunshine
                    To bring
                     Peace

The wind herds the brown-paper bag leaves pell-mell along the river of asphalt. Gusts whip bare branches into a frenzy. Mini cyclones scatter street rubble. Flags whack poles with great abandon and cloth lines bang rudderless into the clapboard. Men with tear filled eyes rush toward shelter. The sun still, and silent, lassoed by the herder shines lemon ice upon the day.

_______Pleiades______

Harsh winds terrorize and
Heave cars. carving, shredding
Houses. cyclones form with
Heavy rains, torrential,
Hammer down, substantial.
Hail rips at my roof, then
Hysteria erupts.

The Pleiades is aptly named: The seven lines can be said to represent the seven sisters, and
the six syllables represent the nearly invisible nature of one sister......

The River and the Life
Rivers are murmuring towards the sea
Rising from the spring of the peaks
they become bigger and bigger
Towards the final destination
The sea

Life is nothing but a river
Where the boat crosses with colorful sails
Sometimes rivers overflow the banks
with floods and cyclones
Somewhere they flow like narrow streams

The river and the life run in parallel
The river flows to the sea
The life blows to death...

The Lullaby Tomb
i gently embrace the tomb singing a lullaby,
softly whisper farewell to the ashes and bones-
mossy vines creep and apparitions cry,
             for death is none but a cage of cyclones;
now the light shall shine in brilliant tones.

The Season Is About To Begin
Sitting here
in the community college
looking at Shawn Green's "The Way of Baseball"
I realize that
the baseball season will soon be upon us
Hordes of fans will cheer on the New York teams
Ever a Met fan I have decided to see their farm team - the Cyclones

Brooklyn has a replacement for the Dodgers!
This is a matter of grave import

Old leaves are blowing in cyclones
Over patches of snow on the lawn
Whirling a mixture of seasons together
With a pattern of thoughts just the same
Some warmed by sunshine and love
Some worries frozen in the cold air
Life can be like this, all in a day
When we face what there is to face
When we do what it is we do
When we take on challenges
That suddenly come our way
         Living by truth

Premium Member Becoming Gas
beyond reasonable doubts
behind rabid regrets
beneath a bleeding world
below bombing cyclones
between raging atmospheric rivers

I slide around in a pit of digital snakes
I track my disintegrating limbs
I observe flashing lights rushing to disasters
I ruminate over lost causes
I persevere without purpose

the End is neighing
the horses are noisy
the noise is hoarse
the sky is raging
the rage skyrockets

This too shall pass
This too shall become gas...

Star Party
At the beach of Coney Island
IHere in Brooklyn - home of the Brooklyn Cyclones
I attended a star party
with some friends
    Gazing through the telescope
I saw the rings around
one of the solar system giants
        Felt a bit dwarfed
by the immensity of space
     But recovered
with a cup of green tea
 Made in China
where they have a space program
                             as they do in Israel
Even though it is the land of the Bible...
