brilliance bona fide in redolent skies
keen red submerging, clementine twilight

Premium Member Kittens Kittens Kittens
Kittens here kittens there, kittens, kittens everywhere!
Tabby cats with stripes that laugh and ooze and sing.
Kittens coming in and out with a zigzag and a zing.
Kittens in a pumpkin, not corralled in any way.
Kittens running around crazily today, hooray!...

Maybe it’s the gravity of your eyes
always pulling me in,
goosebumps and deja vu prickling;
Nothing matters when I’m with you;
Electric pull and my pulse jumps;
Try and pry apart attraction
instead I become more metallic;
Corralled by the force, you’re magnetic....

If my thoughts are to be mine alone embracing utterance cannot be an option. Only thoughts kept corralled, wear my brand, and once uttered, they pasture on open range. Becoming vulnerable to any unscrupulous cowboy who possesses a running iron.

Coerced and Corraled In a Cage
Coerced and Corraled In A Cage

What seems to be apparent was the stage,
That we had discovered regarding the rage,
And from recorder,
Personality disorder,
Both coerced and corralled in a tight cage.

Premium Member The Hand That Feeds Us
Bow down to the better than thous

All us treated like sheep and cows

Corralled and penned and strapped inside

While those on high just break our pride

Whether you're a son or daughter

Prepare yourself for the slaughter

We're all the same to those that bleeds us

It's time to bite the hand that feeds us...

Having A Thought Miracle Man 2/25/2025 Thoughts remain in the delivery room until the tongue gives them birth. Many thoughts go full term but some are birthed premature. Thoughts kept corralled I hold title to, but once shared they graze on open range becoming vulnerable to any unscrupulous cowboy possessing a running iron.

Admired in fear we seek to tame Our mutual assured destruction Better not to roil the mane Flying breath defies direction He sought to run away Snared again in torrid protest Feigned obey your silly play Shadows of his former tempest They bleat and beat their chests Corralled today a winsome gale With every look he still protests Purest handsome finest male

Surging he rode the rogue wave, rendering righteous destruction in his path. With lethal intent, he corralled his quarry in the bay. The serene cool crystal waters soon turned crimson red with the blood of the innocent and vulnerable.

Premium Member In the Early Hours
Listen to poem:
In the early hours
Thoughts turn crystalline
In the silky silent
Nothingness

In the dark field
Of endeavour
With no opposition
They gather

No longer
Corralled by barks
Of Distraction
Or fences of frustration

Exploring
My hopeful mind
Grazing on the joy
Of freedom

Bleating with
Poetic possibilities
Until the luscious light
Of sunrise awakens

In the early hours...

A Toy Box
Come let's explore.
Children three to four
Dump toys from a toy box on to the floor.
Delighted shouts come from their cores
As treasures lost have been found makes
Their hearts soar.
Wait. There's more
Happy sounds coming from the bedroom
Through the open door
Lets me know my children will be busy for
Hours with this score.
Of course clean up will be a chore.
Unless I keep them corralled so they can't
Deplore....

Fragments of Dreams
Fragment of dreams

When I awoke it was still raining
the roof still leaking
a sense of emptiness.
          Not dreaming much
horses galloping across the Pampas
           flaring nostrils
            flying manes.
Too close to a dusty town
Corralled
Broken to nil
sad eyes look to the Pampas
Yes,
                sailors by the shore
seeing the sea
                 the far ocean
they shall not sail on again....

Oceans
it's not just water that fills our ocean buoyant as that may be it's more of matter over mind anchoring aground when bluebirds no longer sound I still hear them echoing through the silence of time a coded coo corralled in unconscious intertwined a slow dance of death unrehearsed shadows aloof to die upon the sword but as one blood wrung wrists washing away in the waves wreaking a lumpish shore

Moonlit Night
Skin transformed to silver beneath the sweep of leaves,
Peach and nitrate in the moon glow and the shaven silhouette;
Filtered through the branches, latticed on her breast,
Polychromatic prisms corralled in pin-prick beads of sweat.

Summer heat and darkness enticed us ever closer,
Bathed in pallid moonbeams and stardust memories;
Laying down together, we as one upon the soil,
And the heavens smiled upon us as we dreamed beneath the trees......

A Storm Rushes In
A crocodile-hide sunset,
a ferrous squall;
somethings boiling up there.

Storm gulls
beat mosquito clouds away
as they flee.

Ten wild horses corralled in a dumpster
hammer my fearless heart.

An anemic sky gulps for breath
near or far
a brawling trample scuffs the earth.

The dimming light drips strings
of gelid spittle.
Vaporous stalactites shred an acrid air.

Now a ferrous rain cuffs and pelts.
I hide my face from its eyes,
follow a screaming ghost
into the house....
