The Hand That Feeds Us

Bow down to the better than thous All us treated like sheep and cows Corralled and penned and strapped inside While those on high just break our pride Whether you're a son or daughter Prepare yourself for the slaughter We're all the same to those that bleeds us It's time to bite the hand that feeds us

Dear Randy, Your poem cuts straight to the heart of societal realities with its raw and unapologetic voice. This is stark and powerful, highlighting the themes of oppression, inequality, and rebellion. Your challenge for us is to confront the systems that keep us bound and to question the structures of power that dictate our lives. The call to action in the closing lines, is great. Reclaim our agency and stand up against injustice, regardless of the consequences. Great poem. Daniel

Thanks Daniel, the question is when. Right now they've got us so divided, I don't foresee any solidarity in the near future. The reason nations continue to practice divide and conquer tactics is the fact that they continue to work. I appreciate your feedback.
