A door unopened
the knock
makes almost
no sound
so subliminal
is
the flimsy veil
of steel
that guards the answer.
Palm holds “Old Man's” face,
eyes are closed resigned to fate.
His FIRST fall is LAST!
For Decending Grace contest
Doors locked
blinds closed
removed the plug
from the telephone.
No one home.

The trees grew higher
As she closed her spring green eyes
The clouds fell lower
I
day of promise
day of deceit
will we advance, retreat?
II
the reason, a door
Hers, Mine, ours -
Open or closed
To watch things clearly,
proceed your eyes opened..
to perceive even exceed
must preserve them closed ..!
Dew-fresh Corona
Handkerchief in my pocket
Remember it so well
Spring mood
Face mask in my pocket
The bar is closed
Proud Flags of a Fool unfurled-
Fell upon Life's jagged rocks
I closed my Door unto the World,
But, alas! It has no locks!
Those Dreams
Making demands
Stark unreality
Doors stay closed~windows open wide
Nightmares
?laughing out loud
in the hallway of
// Indifference //
when one door closed
the other never opened

How is a mind like an umbrella?
This theory I propose…
They cannot do their best work
when either of them are closed
hot tears in closed eyes
he forgets what day it is
his cancer withers
while liagments in his soul
resist any tears.
When in disagreement with you,
they label you "close minded",
this is the attribute of someone who,
is "close minded".
When opportunity kocks at your door...
Why would you want it closed in the first place?

End of lunar month
many stars are whispering
In a summer night
feel so closed you want a touch
gentle lovely summer breeze
He closed his eyes
And died in pain;
But like the sun,
He rose again.
Jack Horne for Linda-Marie’s Easter Inspirations contest
Climbing the gate fast
The big sign posted says 'Closed';
Beautiful water
summoning my rebellion,
with one leap I'm in the pool
Pronounce me lightened,
ethereal wind in wings~
Blow my feathers thus
with slippery zippers closed
to lift me above the sky
Fragile to the touch,
Bathing in rays open wide,
Closed at star lit eyes.

Voters labeled it surreal
the man had little appeal.
But Trump pressed on
sure they were wrong
and closed still another deal.
Waiting for him feels like standing in a long queue.
In the end, when it’s finally my turn,
his counter is closed for the day.
autumnsun the soft light close
bloom-in-falling yellow choice
damp the day each circle closed
fade the sky as eyes smile tight
Bird's don't see bars, cages,
the stringed net,
the closed window.
Birds see the only the sky.
Be that blind.
Snow falls, curtains closed
Life changed and the biting
Wind howls and freezes the
tears that blow away with the
snowflakes.
On bended knees I felt the horrors
Of death as it gushed out blood on me
Behind closed eyes,
On perky breast of a female death.
