Math
It's worse than broccoli.
It's worse than a bath.
It's worse than the measles-
It's...math!

P S Congratulations On Your Bouncing Baby Poet Love, the Stork
I'll be a poet.
Words will flow from heart to pad.
I'll write through times good
And, with God's hand, through times bad.
I'll have a ball...I know it!

Teardrops In September
As sunlight's beauty dies,
I hide in this cold corner,
And love lost is remembered.
An uninvited memory from yesterday
Brought tears in mid-September.

Ratt Poison
I play music while I write-
It really helps me think.
And makes my words all rock and roll
Like Ratt, Poison and Pink.

Is My Brother For Real
Is my brother for real?
He kicks and he bites.
He wets his bed
And starts terrible fights.

He picks his nose-
Can he be my kin?
Or is my brother...
An alien?

Falling riffs like spangled gold,
And sounding drums seem to explode
A surge of tapping, dancing feet,
The piano’s notes, mon coeur entreat.
Cherie amour the air is ''sweet'', so silver laced,
Each face reflects another’s shine
As endeavours fruit is taken in
Like fragrant mellow wine.

Premium Member There She Goes Again
There is a breeze
As tepid SUMMER seeks
Tender hearts lost

That look
A smile
Shining eyes

That face
She plays magically
There she goes

A soft whisper
Indeed enticing
There she goes again

Her style this while a
Season hypnotic
She plays the harp

Strings inside my heart
With grace She lays ma Cherie
My love how I love

These days....

I Am Bored With Math
I am bored with math.
Two plus two always equals four.
Why can't it equal an ice cream cone
Or a trip to the candy store?

Four plus four always equals eight-
Never a video game,
Or a Disneyland vacation.
No, the answer's e'er the same!

One times one always equals one.
Where's the fun in that?
I'd love to see the answer be
A brand new baseball bat!

Another Life Taken Suicide Style
A blood stained floor,

An opportunity missed,
A life unlived,
A bleeding wrist.

A silent scream,
A silent cry,
A moment of weakness,
A minute goes by.

A decsion made,
A taken life,
A letter written,
A razor knife.

A broken home,
A mess to clean,
An empty gap
A horror scene.

A Life Dead ; Gone ; No More

A Portrait On the Wall
My father is a Christmas tree-
My mom, a silver ball.
I'm merely a portrait
Hanging on the wall.

But, my eyes see clearly
Father standing tall and strong
Holding fragile Mother dearly,
Whispering, "It won't be long

Until we see our brave son
Who died tragically that day
In a war unwon
By his beloved USA."

Always in my heart....you beat,
Like a drum being played in
summer’s heat.
Cymbals I do lovingly hear,
Whenever our naked toes are near.

You, the ever-present, inspiration.
The driving force, behind my simple,
poetic creations.

I wonder oft, are my poems dull or
boring?
I shan’t apologize, as my wish, is
to set other souls soaring.

I Love Myself
I love myself
And you should love me, too,
For I am a beauty queen
On the planet Ru.

My bazooms are real-
A fun size Double D:
My olive highlights natural-
There's nothing fake about me.

My eighteen eyes are blue-
My tentacles, long and lean.
My skin is perfectly tanned
A shade you Earthlings call grass green.

My mother says I'm lovelier
Than a twinklin' star
And that, when it comes to beauty,
I have set the Ruan bar!

Consumption
She cursed the world and all its people
As she drowned within her pain.
She sank beneath Hate’s reeking smog
As Fear wreaked havoc in her brain.

The sun comes out and spreads its warmth.
Love’s healing rays still cannot reach her.
The walls she’s built block out the sun,
And her loneliness consumes her.

The days go by and turn to years,
But for this child it’s far too late.
All that remains is a wisp of smoke –
The stench of all-consuming hate.
