Mon Cherie Amour

Always in my heart....you beat,
Like a drum being played in 
summer’s heat.
Cymbals I do lovingly hear, 
Whenever our naked toes are near.

You, the ever-present, inspiration.
The driving force, behind my simple, 
poetic creations.

I wonder oft, are my poems dull or 
boring?
I shan’t apologize, as my wish, is
to set other souls soaring.

Prince, you know my soul’s celestial heart. And I so appreciate that, it takes a similar soul to get it. Prince! Have been in much pain, so forgive this poet with a broken thigh, and a knee full of nuts and bolts to read, write, or comment. Therapy is painful too. To add,,,mthere are close to 2500 poems I penned, so I cannot at this time churn out a new one daily. Suggesting poets read some they never saw. Past POtds, etc. kee up the praying, healing going e Well. Hi to the Princess! Pa
