Why, that's something you should never do

my eyes replaced by two large black buttons,

Caging the Snake
You first forgive
to then forget
Judgment lost
in past regret
To change the mantra
soul’s unfilled
And cage the snake
—from now until

I’ll ransack the caging golden towers,
Slip your hands from the twines of forlorn hours;
Spirit you to fields ‘neath conspiring stars,
Coif your hair with a headdress of flowers....

Maybe She Didn'T Know
Robed in the garments of alabaster hem, was she the matron of ethereal divinity; the sovereign culmination of a hallowed hand, caging my only begotten heart, was it unbeknownst to she, my beloved bearer of me. "

Overlooking our Identity

This is the activity
in which each of us
engage..
Overlooking our Identity
as expanse and expanding
confining it to a
constraining cluster of
perceptions and thoughts..
Until!:
we notice the caging
and the confinement
sounding freedom's call......

My 'Love' Curse
Once I give my heart,
it never fully closes.
There’s always a small part,
that will have love shining through.
I’ve tried tape, glue, thread, even caging,
but it never worked.
Once I truly love someone,
that feeling will never fade.
A small list of people,
forever tattooed in my heart and soul....

Chronometrical Aging
Chronometer,
sands slips through
narrow glass marrow
counting seconds
of elusive time
skin wrinkles
hairs whiten
eyes fade
walks limp
chronometer stops no way
ageman turns it upside down
it goes on and on
millions and trillions of times
aging and caging souls
and then
setting them free
as yet it remains on it's spree....

Caged
Blank page
Broken
Shattered
Empty space
A zombie trying to feel
Imitating what you see
But, never experiencing true emotion
Concept of love escapes you
Feeding a desire
To free yourself
Blind to the realization
That you are only
Caging yourself in like an animal
Dead inside
Hollow existence forever
A lost soul
Endlessly searching for fulfillment...

Not Possible Rest After Arrest
How many people find rest
After a caging arrest?
How many can give their best?
When locked doors from them, dreams wrest?
They are crops their jailer pest!

Freedom they seek East and West:
Much like The Only Wished Guest,
'F' of Freedom stamp on chest,
On my polo it's a crest.
Women would theirs mark on  breast;
They don't like this kind of test:
Bird whose best home is its nest....

Wild Hearts
Wild hearts
too wild to be tamed
break loose from their chains
like birds in cages
they try to break free
and fly away
like stallions running free
wild hearts wants to flee
from conformity
why try to tame a wild heart
when it wants to roam freely
let it loose let it break free
no sense of caging
no sense of restraining
no sense of putting reins
when it wants to run away
it is its nature to be free...

Alive
Is your soul blood red
A dowry of bitter wine
Spilling mortality
Staining the divine

Is eternity a prison
The rusty knife of time
Carving your senses
Caging your mind

Is flesh a pardon
A tactile bribe
Begging the question
What is alive

Is there a reason
In this chalice of mine
To sip my faith
And fear no demise

Is there a forever
In your crying eye
A word to grasp
When your child has died...

Natures Balance
Something magical aligned in the stars one night-
which birthed the love of the Cardinal and the Rose
A balance which propelled the universe to motion

The Rose, a beauty of sharpness
The Cardinal a mysterious blur

The Rose nurturing his faulty ambitions-
with dreams of caging his love

The Cardinal cursed to fly away to greener trees–
feeding on her zealousness

Bound by the wind and the rain and the sun
Faced with the need for the other...

Premium Member A Look Into Forever
A Look Into Forever I look upon the face of one Whose beauty defies aging And feel the anxious moment Like a wild beast before caging. The things I feel about The one who stands before me Will last a thousand lifetimes – As long as she adores me. And who can count the moments Or add one single day To a lifetime spent in praising The One who leads the way. This bond we cannot sever Unless we gaze into forever. Written by John Posey

During War
During war folks don’t breathe with ease,
Kids don’t keep frolicking; they cease,
Haters of blood shed soldiers seize;
There’s caging in a once free breeze.

During war most men jittery,
Eyes on the doors of Eatery,
In hands spoons in mind butchery
Some granted favours Trickery
Easily seen Debauchery
Yet some actors for Bravery…

During war Hard Principles bend,
Murder and Rape some kind of trend
No new Robes; The old one you mend
One for oneself prefers to fend....

Caged Life
I look out from the iron bars
Wish I could go out for a long walk
Living in four walls
Walking within is maddening
My body has become stiff, I desperately need exercise
I want to chat with others
Share, laugh and enjoy life
This life is depressing
Especially for an extrovert like me
God please end this
If not at least give me death.

Note: I was talking about caged animals. If you could relate to this, please empathize with animals. Stop caging animals and visiting zoos....
