A Look Into Forever

A Look Into Forever

I look upon the face of one
Whose beauty defies aging
And feel the anxious moment
Like a wild beast before caging.

The things I feel about
The one who stands before me
Will last a thousand lifetimes –
As long as she adores me.

And who can count the moments
Or add one single day
To a lifetime spent in praising
The One who leads the way.

This bond we cannot sever
Unless we gaze into forever.
