The Only Way

insistent emphasis
dogmatic views
make for faith
fundamentalistic

specious belief
eristic rigidity
stagnates in a cave
caging spontaneity

seeking without surrender
clinging to scriptures
imprisons the soul
in a mind trap

repeated affirmations
manifest heart’s aspirations
as a conjured epiphany
deepening delusion

sans thought who are we
unfettered and unbound
beyond mental concepts
look for that oh hermit

Yes, kind of questions all belief systems, based on religion and ritual. Religion is a mental concept whereas spirituality is a direct inquiry, discovering truth by touch. So fundamentalists say we are lost without Jesus or Buddha or Allah or Shiva, as the case may be. It is a concept, fear based, a control mechanism. Silence connects us with Holy Spirit directly, imbibed as bliss magnetism. That’s the difference.
