Monsters Groan Hair In Wrinkled Gnaws
monsters groan hair in wrinkled gnaws…

hell chews hope in gnashed cash…

greased volcanoes sire rising screams…

burn of cyanide and bunkers reich…

flags star stud the roar of flames…...

Where
it rains
all hidden in bunkers
waiting
sunny days
never came
a canvas and brush
colors and paints
erase fragments of insanity
she of many faces
gave away
snowflakes of happiness...

Coming Too Soon
COMING TOO SOON
by H.B.Ussach

Popping up like pre-fab stucco-concrete-aluminum posies,
Poking up on parking lots as donut shops and quick lubes,
They are plain, utilitarian, proletarian low-low-price bunkers
On a retail war-weary land....

Sadam No More { Alliteration}
Bombs bursting bunkers beds
                                       Sadam suddenly soils shorts
                                       Army Airforce Alies Allegence

they'd come for me again
just like before I'd hidden underneath

the bunkers as bombs bit off chunks
of buildings shattering mountaintops

the thunder seemed to roar over
the soundless skies I'd began to wonder

if redcross would arrive in time
as fema deployed upon my entering

a Pakistani village I'd exposed myself
to hatreds war where Lucifer sat sun bathing...

From Eden to the outhouse
in just a few thousand years
blooming weapons of mass extinction
from the seeds of our many gifts..
A volley of nuclear warheads is coming
within a generation or so
the wealthy and powerful will sashay
to heated bunkers-stocked with tomorrow...
While above, the serfs break dance
like ants in a boiling water bath.
There'll be no Jesus balm to sooth their nuclear rash,
Eden forever poisoned by the oily ego of man....

The Bunkers
Edith was a saint in every sense of the word.
Things she endured today would be considered absurd.
Edith was a homemaker who stood by her man so near.
She tried to make Archie happy and keep him with a beer.

Archie was an old school, hard working type of man.
He didn't take to change and few people he could stand.
Archie was abrasive as sandpaper, Edith gentle as a dove.
Archie was a bigot that only a naive dingbat could've loved.
