The Bully
Miracle Man
9/7/2024
I once new a boy,
whose disposition was bad.
He relied on fear.
A man wore a flashy red suit
With a shiny thigh high boot
People starts to stare
But he didn't care
Until he came face to face with a brute

Liar,
Abusive,

A bully once roared in my face,
macho bluster, lacking all grace.
I said “Do you mind?
I think you might find,
your breath offends my personal space.”
The pen
is a sword
that slays
in skilled hands
it is a scalpel
that dissects
my own
however
is a blunt instrument
and it beats the truth out of me
There once was a bully named Mean.
I am kidding, his name was McQueen.
He took classmates’ lunches,
And slapped them in bunches,
Until he was fined by the queen.

open, willing
listening, observing, watching
satisfaction, successful, aimless, unfulfilled
distracting, annoying self-serving
close-minded, uneducated
bully
theyer here theyer there
hate in the air
they look and stare
they do this
with a tight fist
theyer bold
and won't contorls
some hair is very wully

BULLY
After twenty years the class bully, Mitch
Still takes my lunch money, without a hitch
Though this is still true
I'll give him his due
He sure makes a great Subway sandwich!
Bully
Beautiful I am, yet
Ugly I'm made to feel.
Loved I am, yet
Loathe and scorn each day I hear.
You will one day feel my pain, as my scars forever bear your name.
To this day,
the boy who use to bully me in school still takes my lunch money.
On the plus side,
he does make a great subway sandwich for me.

..ah yes, karma can be very sweet.
There once was a bully named Whim.
None of us children could stand him.
He was sneaky, mean, and no fun.
Worst of all, the principal's son.
His chances of friendship were slim.
There was a bully name of Big Mad Mar.
When children cried she’d say hardy har har.
One day she picked on me.
Gave me a tee hee hee
She looked pretty strange with her head in a jar
Been coughing lately out of breath with regrets
Asthma? Emphysema? Bully pest upsets
My arms akimbo
at foul passing nimbo
Suffering succotash, I need a cigarette!
Huge woolly mammoths have long been extinct
Why create creatures that are to T-Rex linked?
They were frozen in ice
Don't remake them from mice
Am I clear or should I be more succinct?
Bearing painful hurt.
Unbelievable scars appear.
Live a Life thats down.
Live a Time not loved.
Your unkind treatment of another human being
leading to ultimate death.
Rushing toward me were specks of white
I saw it was a trio of ghosts as they came into sight
I turned and ran so fast I left my legs behind
These three began laughing at me, they were not so kind.
I hold all the cards, so obey and bow low
And don't dismay pal Putin, he's not my foe
Your survival's at stake?
Yawn, give me a break!
And fork over your lunch money before you go!
She is taking all my friends away.
Something I commonly hear.
Daily.
And it is weird but
As soon as it happens
The victim wants no other friend
But that one.
Crazy?
Yes,
But so
Third grade!
FIVE FABULOUS FUN FOOTLES
A Bully Tale
Pay me
Says he
I'm broke
No joke!
One look
Shoes took
Can’t run
He won!

Bully.
Restless, angry hurt
streaks out in scorching words
like hot oil from a frying pan.
Bully.
Bailing pain out
in laughter and violence
nobody sees you sinking.
Bully.
Drowned from within.
Into the locker, longing for loneliness.
Bang against the wall, waiting for the weekend.
Scared fearful, frightened flight.
Home alone, anger alienation.
Pain inside, prescription pills.
Sleep, silently snoring.
Practice what you preach
Often comes to mind
When the holier than thou
Preach of goodness and kind
Get off your soapbox
Stop attempting to teach
Look inward and be truthful
Then practice what you preach

There are bullies within and bullies without
What they have in common – they just love to shout
With pencil and pen
Again and again
They don’t want you here, “please” get the hell out!
