a little birdie told him
that his owner had sold him
the warning he sloughed
alas, he was stuffed
and nothing said consoled him
magpie to magpie
have those fools lost their marbles
chasing birdie eggs
on green grass down holes in one ~
let's show the mugs how its done
birdie on a painted slat
he flutters into a rush
of spring leaves
as if he were diving into a cold pool
brr…brr
pert season is heating up

The lovely bird locked in his cage
Is starting to show his birdie age.
He no longer spends days
Just thinking of ways
Of expressing his birdie rage.

An injured bird falls
to depths of a giant tree
birdie watches helplessly.
Man rushes to help
picks up bird with folded knees,
both of his arms are missing.

Birdie Trouble
So you think you’re going to hole me
Teed off well and on the green rolled me
Looked like hole in one
Then all hope was gone
When old albatross swooped and stole me
A cute little pecker this birdie of mine
Pecking away losing all sense of time
Of a birdie I speak
Not Mr. Happy so chic
A woodpecker pecking away as the world is in rhyme
My heart on the clothesline
drip drying in evening’s breeze
washed in introspection
rinsed in morning dew
fresh and clean and new ~
till an evil little birdie
flew by
and
pooped on me
Fly birdie fly
High up in the sky
Come and sit on my window sill
So that I can have my fill
To hear you sing
Ting-a-ling-ling
All day long
You sing a pretty song.
Fly birdie fly
High up in the sky
I know I'll always love you
As long as I'm alive
And dream about a someday
Before I'm one-o-five
I'll try my best to make it
In case that's what's in store
And if it is I'll take it
Though better one-o-four
Birds
Singing
Soothing souls,
Serenading
Trembling moments erase the darkest gloom,
Stardust shadows echo through the silence,
Glistening truth,
Playing soft,
Warbling
Songs
A cute little pecker this birdie of mine
Pecking away losing all sense of time
It's of a birdie I speak
Not Mr, Happy so chic
A woodpecker pecking away as the world is in rhyme

Why Birds Hop
The snow is falling the cold wind blows, all I think of is the little birdie toes
Sitting in the snow so cold, they must be really freezing
But now I know why birdies hop, he’s caught a cold and he’s sneezing.
My soul is on your shelf,
Nobody's catching that.
Next to your photo frame,
Which gives me a heart attack.
Did you wanna tell me something?
Oh, I could make it clear.
Open the door, B-I-R-D-I-E,
My soul is on your shelf.
Orange is prevalent every day in my heart of hearts
I paint with her, and I glory in her exuberance and enthusiasm.
I delight in her. She excites me and ignites me.
Orange is me, and I am orange. Fly birdie, fly, orange. Fly now!
I wouldn't mind par
but I'd prefer a birdie
anything but one, double, or
triple bogey.
Eagles are too high for my aim
but I still love this game.
After the eighteenth I'll
have a drink at the bar
and let my mind soar.
Form:
When seeking entrence
In the world of acceptance
Survival through journey
Says the Birdie
Seeking more time
You think to remind
Shadow to light
Now in sight
Do not worry
For I will hurry
To heal the heart
Who seeked me from the start
me to you
on the wing of a pray
of something new
birdie i love you
on the raise you errant
not giving your answer true
birdie I wish I could fly,
on the wind you are borne
even my hopes
by giving a yes
then i will sing to you tales of bode
Fly
birdie
fly.
Spread your
wings and soar.
The time
has
come to
leave the nest,
your destiny
awaits. Fly
birdie
fly.
Spread your
wings, catch the
wind and
heed
freedom's
call.
