Broken Wings

An injured bird falls
to depths of a giant tree
birdie watches helplessly.

Man rushes to help
picks up bird with folded knees,
both of his arms are missing.

So much love for the fallen is within this wounded warrior. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. If only all people could love like the person of whom you speak in your lines. Sara
