ride my bike in the chill
around the Titanic decks. . .
hope to ride till we dock
sun glints off binoculars
pedal faster to new york
Mark wore biking shorts to work out
Poorly sewn seams were not too stout
He ripped a hole
exposing…uh oh!
Everyone saw what he’s about
Kids in the summer,
Running, jumping, and playing.
Biking in the neighborhood,
Yelling Loudly down the streets,
Not ready for school to start.
In the swamps trained a young Jedi guy.
He could run, swim, and biking, could fly.
He was fit to be tied;
His olympic dream died.
In Dagobah, there is no tri.
No matter how dark the road is
There is light ahead
No matter how hard you feel
God is listening
Life is like that of biking
If you can't keep the balance
You can't drive to move any longer.
So Eric the Viking was not to my liking
I met him one morning when I was out hiking
It’s worthy of note
He owned not one boat
And wore a horned hat when he went mountain biking
Soda
Cumulus clouds
Biking, running, hiking
Triathlon, walk, mountain, top
Drinking, bathing, fishing
Sunny, torridly

Harley came from Littleport
To fight the Civil war
Then staying on,to father a son-
From Fens to fame, via a bike
On a Harley-Davidson.
Tribute to the founder of the Harley family of motor biking fame.
Biking through Salt Lake City
Homes of well knit, croquet stature
With Oxford fountains flowing
Forcibly pin my eye
I pedal a block to see streets missing teeth
Bank signs, chipped paint and amazon lawns
She loves cool, crisp breezes along the shore
Warm smiles and rom-coms she's cried to before
She loves fall, dogs and biking
Babies, laughter and hiking
But somehow, she doesn't love me anymore

Strength
Muscular, powerful
Weightlifting, hiking, biking
Physical, strong, exhausted, faint
Walking, talking, resting
Drained, shaky
Weakness
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

That's a very old joke, you know,
and it's still not funny.
No, I hate skiing
And mountain biking
No, not corn. Potatoes
And Mormons
Yes, it really IS a state. Look it up.
What's there?
Endless desert
What's there?
Nothing
Nothing but me.
Mountain is where my soul belongs,
Biking around with soothing songs.
It’s a better place to live,
With pretty views and nothing to give.
Nothing to worry about,
Going where takes you the route.
Snow falling onto your hair,
Purity in the heart and air.
Walking across the streets,
Where the rivers meet.
Summer
hot, muggy
swimming, surfing, drinking
heat, picnics, people, beaches
running, playing biking
sunburn, suntan
Summer
Down at the park
no biking
no spitting
no littering
no loitering
no children
no running
no walking
no skipping
no singing
no sweating
no flipping
no picnicking
no body

P.S.
I used to live in a town where you were allowed to jog as long as you didn’t sweat. Anything perspiration-related in public was forbidden.

Maia turns nine today
Apple of my eye
I've said a thousand times
And at 2:30 I'll pick you up from school
Then take you to your gymnastics class
And then home where a surprise party awaits you.
Oh, how I'd like to see your face surprised!
How time flies
And I hope in the years I have left
Your Lolo will enjoy being with you
Laughing, surprising, playing,
Biking, eating and just having fun.
I'm trying to save the world today.
The glory moment.
Finish the novel.
Feed the children.
Fill their souls.
Redeem the soul of the world.
Hand back their dignity.
Sign off on full disclosure.
Biking right through the bourgeoisie.
Let them see.
I am the light.
Shining from sea to sea.
Do you hear me?
Paul Revering?
So send me home
Or let me roam.
Any way is the way,
Since I'm trying to save the world today.
Hot Dogs, beer
and long warm nights
Indigestion, too much booze
Lead to front yard fights
Days at the river
Lying on the beach
Sand everywhere
Places I can't reach
Camping or hiking
Walking or biking
All that exercise
Is not to my liking
Sun high in the sky
Early sunrise
I can't get any sleep
These things I despise
Wait, we get Monday off
Is that what you say?
I've changed my mind
I love Memorial Day
Biking along Lehigh drive
On an early sunny morning
Not a cloud in the azure sky
My! My! What a wonderful day!
I continued onward until
I reached the Lehigh boat-launch pad.
No longer able to resist
The allure of the calm river
I laid my bicycle against
A hillock, shed my shoes and socks
And walked to the shallow rivers edge
Stood there for a moment or two
Walked in ankle deep from shore
And became a young lad once more.
Tripping, skipping, lipping Lee. I’ve got a wart hog, you’re on my knee!
Spiking, liking, biking me, I’m going to travel, far as you can see.
Hopping, bopping, cropping, key. Fits in a door knob, bigger than me.
Smacking, tracking, fracking, we. You are a he, I am a she.
Shoving, loving, doving, bee. From unknown places, now here with thee.
Wondering, thundering, asundering gee. Leave well enough alone, and I will get you some tea.
Splish, splash, splosh
Can't see your tears when in the rain
Drizzle and downpour awash
Raining cats and dogs insane
Spitting, torrential, dribble in raindrop town
Bucketing down, chucking down
Pouring down, pelting down
In raindrop town
The sky flashes all around you
Cycling in the rain at its best
Miserable at its worst, thru and thru
I enjoy cycling sooo much, me at·test
During bucketing down, pouring down
All along, riding in raindrop town
i watched you come into this world
it took my breath away
i look at you
and cant believe
your're here to stay
i held you in my arms
so soft n tender you are
i will always b here for you
and never be afar
i love to watch you grow
and take you to the snow
camping, biking, hiking
oh, sweet child
you are so striking
i give you m heart
i give you my soul
in the heat
or in the cold
sometimes life
changes direction
but we will always
have a connection.
