Premium Member The Wound
With tears I cleansed it
Made sure that no dirt remained
Bandaged and covered it up
The wound of my heart
I daily check for healing
Once again exposed- it bleeds.

Her love
quite deceitful
in a grand theatric
she performs an illusion of
Passion...

holds my heart safe
in pain, bandaged and bruised
of past broken remnants, I close,

Quiver as pinions tremble
Bandaged by your balm
Brokenness shed to soar at dawn

Fates Arranged a Halloween Poem
The poor man calls at Halloween
with wretched teeth and bandaged gleam.
For naked truth to dariaged dream
of crimes gone by for so obscene.

That all man knows
that poor is funny
When all who beg
are lost for money

That crimes gone by
are things to change
When all that time
was fates arranged...

Claudette the Chiropodist
Island girl now of Purley
at youth shielded from Rock N Roll
she remembers the Supremes
Kick start those autumn leaves
You're a pillar of an ancient profession
This is no ruse
just plain thoughtfulness
You've handled my feet with perfection
you've bandaged my shin
always to the best of your ability...

Ghost of Christmas Past
First ghost was his wife,
to whom he was sworn,
fading, thin, bandaged,
in the far northern city.

tubed in another world or no world.
Nurses and social worker
urged him to chose life.
But the deep promises linger,

in pictures with cheery captions
from his children.
He tosses in bed
and lets the quilt
slide off his legs....

In her slippers danced two feet

     As bandaged toes and blisters

Satin pink - with ribbons, laced

Once prized by both her sisters

             Tried-n-true they saw her thru

            The grandest of those years

And now they stay beside her

As a dancing angel ... nears....

Stay With Me
Stay with me

Every time I see you I see love
like a pure white dove
When nobody was here I saw you
and I knew that it was true
You bandaged my wounds
so gently with care
And you gave me a stare
Instead of a glare
I need you with me
To step through
Stay with me
And I will be with you
Your eyes gleam
Just like your self esteem
Stay with me
And I will be with you....

Pain Has Died
Healing,feeling whats inside
We went forth our pain has died
Heart still bandaged, broken child
We broke the chain, our children are wild,
Stronger person,standing taller
We both are stronger because our daughter
You know our story, all then pain
Stronger now,it's life we've gained
So now we forgive,we never forget
Healing,feeling,whats inside
We went forth our pain has died....

Alone In the Dark
Imperfection deep inside
shatters my bandaged soul.
Shadows descend my listless mind-
Sorrow seeps into my heart;
	My spirit trickles out.

Slowly my soul is shriveling-
powerless to ebb the flow,
useless to everyone,
ignored by the world;
	My spirit has bled out.

No where left to turn-
at the end of my rope-
strangled by hopeless dreams-
all alone in my life;
	Darkness fills the void....

Ordinary Hero
An ordinary hero arose today
A friend’s anger was turned away
A child’s heart was lifted up
The thirsty drank from a full cup

An ordinary hero arose today
A child’s hurt was kissed away
A bandaged covered a skinned up knee
A cry was turned to joyful glee

An ordinary hero arose today
Who was that that hero who saved the day?
There is a hero inside us all
Just don’t let your hero drop the ball...

Premium Member Bright Choppy Waters
Puddles of rainbows drag across the floor
becoming a perfect shade of pitch black;
Much stronger than anything seen before
a firestorm is now more than a comeback;
Knock out punch ideology can pack
has left the past severely brain damaged;
Nothing is left here that can be bandaged,
repurpose antiquated for brand new;
Reinvented pools can now be restaged;
Bright choppy waters to jump right in to....

Distinction Gone Into Extinction
Where does one find True Extinction
Long gone into sad extinction?

Know I some doubly soiled magistrates
Clean for their mansions with balustrades,
A wife-beater philanthropist
Who would not pay for bandaged wrist,
A lauded sharp shooter commando
Who fired and missed stalked Fernando
And doctor who called colleague 'Dummy'
But swab forgot in patient's tummy...
And it's second missionary journey
Prompting a bribing of Attorney....

Double Stitched
Underneath my flesh
In between my back and ribs
I have a tiny scar right there
It has been double stitched

I used to give it freely away
Without thinking with my mind
Blindly just opened it up
Until it got damanged over time

Now I keep it bandaged
With my very life
Until it has time to heal
This broken heart of mine

If I choose to let you in
Let you have a peek
Be ever so gently with it
It still has tattered broken beats...

At the Surgery
At the surgery

Here we are at the clinic`s
waiting room,
a fat lady with bandaged big toe,
and an old man leans on his walking stick
he lives alone.

An ancient couple from the upland,
dressed in their Sunday best,
hold hands and look endearing,
a youngish woman who keeps rummaging
through her bag, and me.

Six pairs of feet in a slow shuffle,
Electrocardiography doesn’t
mend a tired heart, only tells
us we are mortal...

Mans Best Friend
Top up my cup
Take out the pup
Boundless energy it does have
It cut its foot it needs some salve

Bandaged up he runs around
Yes his energy does abound
He eats like a hog
But he’s a dog

He runs after ball and stick
Does not know which one to pick
He knows when to run and play
And also knows just when to stay

He is my friend for life you know
And never ever wants to go
We all know how rumors bend
But this we know is mans best friend...
