Uninspired
I aspired to be inspired,
So I labored all the day.
No inspiration--just perspiration,
I guess I'd better use the spray...

Teamwork
To attain a group's aspired triumph,
Member's help is quite important.
As each and everyone works,
The whole unit succeeds,
accomplishing things.
The uphill task
turns into
easy
job....

Unknown
I know where i'm going in life,
I just don't know how to get there.
The "me" they see is who i am.
The "me" they don't see is who i want to be.
The adult in me hasn't yet fully aspired,
but the child in me is long gone....

Sunflowers
Russian Giants were our favourites
they could top ten feet
with flowers to match
and a big broad smile that was designed to catch
undivided attention.
To us, they were
parhelions, sun-trackers who
aspired to be
centres of yellow excellence....

NEGLECT
Strangled into the ropes of death
An undeserving figure took the role finely
Tears were my favorite pal
Scribbling manifested my parallel reality
Overthrowing seemed an eminent long journey
Warmth was all that I aspired for
Then again, I found a home inside me...

Dreams and Tilted Flowers
Our skies of gold
And songs of the streams
Sounds of angels' voices
In our everlasting dreams
While our souls laid there
Upon the flowered grass
There still remains one memory
One thousand years to last
The flowers that we aspired upon
Still tilted as we dreamt....

Austere Adoration
Arrogance absorbs
an ambition
as asses attack asses:
all are astray,
aghast and alone.

Amidst atrocities
and abhorrence,
an angel aspired amity;
amaranthine ardor: agony, absent...

Arms appeared
and accorded assistance;
all are abetted,
amidst apprehensions....

Relationship
ASPIRED ON THE SOLID GROUNDS
BASED ON TRUST AND RESPECT
ADMIRATION AND AFFECTION
GENERATING MUTUAL SMILES
MEETING AFTER MEETINGS
WARM HEARTILY EXCHANGES
COMMUNICATION FROM HEART WITHIN
FRUITFUL IT MAY NOT SEEM
A BEGINNING IS WHAT THIS IS
SURELY ON ITS WAY
TO A LONG LASTING ONE...

Never Relent
Have you ever aspired?
That you crave to acquire
Have you ever admired?
That it got you inspired
It only requires
A burning desire
Like the heat of fire
To achieve your greatest desire
Don’t ever retire
Adversity will surely conspire
To bend you like iron wire
Stay taut and never tire
Till you attain your one true desire....

Surrendered
When the sun touched your face,
You smiled,
When the rain fell upon,
You sheltered,
When the stars lit the sky,
You saw,
When the clouds drank the moon,
You knew,
When the time sped away,
You rested,
When the night took you in
You went,
To some better place
You aspired
In the sweet arms of angels
Surrendered…...

On the Road To Calvary
all my life I have aspired
to reach that place that is higher
as far as thine eye can see
on the road to Calvary

to you my Lord, I desire
to do all that you require
of a simple servant like me
on the road to Calvary

for through you, I will learn to live right
reaching towards that sacred light
of Thy spirituality
on the road to Calvary...

Limpid Elan
Every morning I wake up
I feel my day adore –
Anew rays of first light
Afresh my mind, cleansed soul –
A new beginning to endure.

Yester memoir enclosed agone
Today to face more –
A whole day unrevealed
Fostered withal by elation.

Walked my way
With anew hope
Destiny wished crystallized.

Aspired aspect
Limpid élan…

Tranced....

Saint Joan
All males undone
  by the Lady Son

The trumpets blared
  her fire

An Earl first came
  her wrath unchained

To Charles
  her heart aspired

All kingdom come
  to face Lady Son

But to hell
  their souls were laid

As her legend grew
  and from banners flew

The name Joan
  —all hearts to pray

Extreme cleaning my house is wearing me out, but I’ll get through. There can be no doubt. Straining and scrubbing’s required. Buckets, I’ve perspired. I’m beyond tired. Though not fond of being this mired in hard labor, I aspired to cleanliness. When I’m through, I’ll shout. Extreme cleaning my house is wearing me out.

Uninvited
Into this world of pain and problems I came
Uninvited. Yet you accepted me and gave me the chance
To be the delight of some eyes and a heartburn to many.
And I have tried, the best I could, to give a helping hand
To those who were just but long suffering and unloved
Who aspired but reached not the limelight nor earned
The wealth and fame and honors and comforts of life....

Oh, my soul,

You, the divine chrysalis of heavens,

Stop fighting to break out of the

Cocoon called life

For

It is not the prison you think it is

But

The plane of your temporal existence,

Designed,

To teach you, how to become

A butterfly

Thus

Your aspired flight of immortality to

Attain!

New Beginnings

. Shyly the tender shoots
. Aspired to reach the skies
. Each leaflet uncurling slowly
        To hum its unsaid fondest story;
Some brought smiles all around
A few left us with moist eyes...

Two Warriors
The last bout of the night
  two warriors would fight
  with legends
  now at hand

Feet and fists wrapped
  their spirits attacked
  and of their bodies
  they would demand

Each kick got higher
  as two hearts aspired
  to what lay just beyond
  their grasp

And as the referee sounded
  over hearts that still pounded
only the best of each other
    —had they asked

Aspired Desire
Reaching into the night
As if you were already there
Yearning for the comfort
And connection alleged to be rare
Nothing else matters
Now that I'm here with you
Except, this is fictitious

Waiting for dreams to come true
Instantly awakened
Should I go back to sleep
Enticed by visions
Listening as you speak
Once riveted by physical interest
Gentle as you are, yet
Enlightened by refinement
Let me know, "Have I gone too far?"...

Wishes On Fire
Nothing leaves a footprint
like a memory burned
Deep into the consciousness
of those unlearned

Nothing grows more deadly
than the force of will
It powers every weapon
it vanquishes with skill

Nothing braves tomorrow
like a wish on fire
Its light forever’s beacon
to each soul aspired

Nothing is more final
than a dying breath
Words exiting their prison
—eternity’s rosette

Premium Member A Little Girl Without a Doll
alone on a step,
cold, hungry and tired,
the girl awaits,
to be aspired

abandoned, once sold,
whisked away, it was told,
she pines for the doll,
that lives in her soul.

a soul of care,
a moment to breathe,
a mothers memory,
cast out - seethe.

taken and used,
powerless, abused,
the doll a tool,
to amuse.

her isolated run,
kept hidden from some,
she sits in the cold,
awaits your arms - just hold.
