The Chrysalis

Oh, my soul,

You, the divine chrysalis of heavens,

Stop fighting to break out of the

Cocoon called life

For

It is not the prison you think it is

But

The plane of your temporal existence,

Designed,

To teach you, how to become

A butterfly

Thus

Your aspired flight of immortality to

Attain!

I am very touched by this picture of a butterly - they are such a powerful symbol of freedom, I love the 'you, divine chrysalis of heavens', the use of the word 'you', reminds us it's each one of us and 'heavens', relating to the different realms. Blessings! Oh my soul - lovely I never stop being amazed. Kim

Demetrios THANK YOU!!, for reminding me of that fact that the butterfly is a symbol of the soul also, a beautiful analogy. I am really!, interested in the Philosophers and shall be reading more. Yes I agree the body is home of our spirit, and soul also, God created it that way when he created us (in HIS own likeness), we communed with God before the fall in the Garden of Eden in our spirits the connection, no words would of been necessary we communicated spirit to spirit, as well as words. We get glimpses when God breaks through and when we are quiet, but as Christians our spiritual connection with God has been restored, THANK GOD!!. Special sharing.

The butterfly, dear Kim, is the symbol of the soul as well! Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher of the sixth century BC thought the body was the tomb of the soul which struggled to liberate itself and return to its celestial home. Myself believe our body" Cocoon" is the vehicle of the soul on this plane of existence that helps the soul to acquire experiences that could never have acquired. God bless you my dear friend!
