as bats begin to fly.
Silence seeks sounds to amplify;
and while crickets comply,

Quietus
Strong desire to get outside;
Ocean, amusement parks, or waterslides;
Let me freeze time with a sunset,
stay bathing in that salt breeze a while;
Travel to a new place get a little lost,
it's so warm I'm awake all night;
Came with lust and a pair of flip flops
eager to amplify the brightest sunlight.

Singapore
Gone are the days of her anthem
Raw notes of emotion exposed
Feeling flat and the audience sharp
Missing one octave after another
Drenched in fear of rejection
Vulnerability stifled in perfection
Strangled at the mere peep of her unique voice
Spotlights amplify the performance
Lights, action, cut
Silence protects the broken
Reading
my own heart I’m queasy;
It’s such a new feeling
nothing’s been so easy;
Stone walls are exploding;
I cry,
I don’t know what to do;
No matter how I try,
I’m not me without you;
Right smiles you amplify;
Hopeful
all that’s inside I shout
there’s solace in truthful:
I write this poem out,
for the release grateful.
Sometimes my mouth
whispers to my ear
without movement; I feel the
vibrations travel through
my head.
I'd spy on it, clamp it,
but it says vile, shocking
things I never
would.
The sound
resonates within me.
My ears try
to cut the cord
but only amplify the screech:
inside me a giant ring
is ringing and I can't
let others hear it.

Soaring and Gliding,
moving with the wind
be no ones Fool.
Learn the trades tricks

that Families pride !
Laying bricks or shooting craps,
Incorporating or Franchising-
just do your best !
Step on no feet,

Push and Shove,
tare out your hair,
you'll reap so quickly a far !
An ill wind blows this hurricane Sandy ashore,
Making everyone wonder just what is in store.
The full moon will amplify the already large waves,
And Mother Nature in her glory will misbehave.
In a mega storm people will come together,
Knowing God is in control, including the weather.
It is a reminder that life is like a grain of sand.
And for our eternity, we have to plan.
