sorry, Wilma, it actually seemed like you were asking me who he was. Ok, it is Hebrew for "brother of the exalted one" and interestingly it was the name of the prophet Joseph smith's little brother!! My daughter's husband is a very strong Mormon and so they named their son Hyrum (more popular among members of our church here in Utah). do you like it? I think it is a really cute name. But I prefer the version spelled Hiram.
